Looks like fun!  Sadly I'll be away from my PS3 from today through Monday :'(

As of right now it looks like I won't be able to make it by 8:00.  I should be there around 9:00  If someone is on at 8:00 and could get this going in my lounge I would really appreciate it.  :)

Also,  Metal, send an FR to GTP_Wizard

New tire wear = I'm in trouble.

I'm not smooth enough with the throttle, especially with a car like the NSX, so I couldn't get RM's to last past 3 laps.  :o

I may be restricted to low hp, and short races.  :(

Pd has fucked up this time. Tire wear is far too quick now. Seems like it would have been obvious to them if they tested these things first. :-[

It really is amazing how they don't seem to try things first (the GT Academy time trials early on come to mind).  With the new sound effects, I couldn't hear any of the chatter during a race, only engine noise, so I thought it was just me destroying the tires in the race.  I was unaware of the change in tire modeling so I was a bit surprised when I started losing tire on the 2th lap last night.  When the race ended, I had maybe 10% remaining on the rears and 15% on the fronts.

Not it looks like every race is going to have to factor in tire wear.  As usual, well done, PD.

I'm guessing tire wear will be getting more patching. I'm certain we could all adapt to this, but I can't shake the feeling PD will be tweaking this more in the future.

So it probably doesn't matter that the tune and how it's driven have a huge affect on tire wear. Right now it seems any slip between the tire and road surface causes an instant loss of rubber.

Wizard used the RS and pitting to victory vs. RH and no pitting. I was too far back nursing RS without a pit to see how close the finish was.

How about nursing R3?

The guy from Malta said R1, 2 and 3 make no sense anymore.
