So it's 1960 something and you're going to the beach. Unfortunately, the game doesn't have any '32 Fords or Woody Wagons, so throw your surf board in the passenger seat of your convertible and go! There are only a few cars that fit the bill for this (that is, 1960s or prior and convertibles, preferably American). Thus:

Car: Shelby Cobra 427 '66

Setup: Stock. Oil Change. POWER LIMITER TO 295!

Restrictions:
Power - 295HP (yes, you're gonna have to drop it substantially)
Weight - 1060kg
Tires - Racing Medium
Tuning - Prohibited
Lounge: TuTuTuna
Tracks: Anything with water (and by "water" I don't mean "rain," so don't worry). So: HSR, Monaco, DSS/DRC, Grand Valley and any I've missed. DSS doesn't really work, but if you feel the need to run it, go ahead and mess with the tranny.

I will not be there this week, as I am going to a Beach Boys concert, so if whoever hops on can start the room, please do so! I'll be back for the Return of the Shuffle next week. Have fun, I hope I neutered it enough!

HEY LITTLE COBRA - The Rip Chords

Also, 'Ol Shel. I hope there are tires to smoke and people to sue in the afterlife!

A surprisingly fun night's racing!  I didn't see anyone racing at 8.30pm so I figured I'd hop into the room and run a few laps then move on if no one arrived since there weren't many people online or in GT5, turned out racing for almost 4 hours and it was a lot of fun!

One major surprise of the night for me was the car, usually that Shelby can be a handful even at it's stock power but detuned to 295hp it was an absolute dream!  Just enough power to fun and not quite enough to be dangerous, handled well and didn't try to eat your face on every corner unless you really pushed it.

Thanks everyone!
