TuTu April 2 2013 - SEMA
« on: March 29, 2013, 12:03:45 PM »

First off, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND everyone go buy the Mitsubishi Starion Rally Car from the OCD. Please don't complain next week if you don't own one. Now, for this week (per a request):

Car: Trans-Cammer Mustang vs. HEP G37 (are you hep to the jive?)

Setup: None - please select the car from the "Recommended List" in the lounge.

Restrictions
Tires: Sports Soft
Tuning: Prohibited
Lounge: PUBLIC LOBBY. I will try and have it set up by 7:30 est and will post the room number here immediately afterward. If not, follow the yellow dots!
Opening Track: Tokyo R246

I chose these cars because they are relatively close in terms of pp (and we've already used the Art Morrison Vette not too long ago).

Remember: this will be in an open lobby. Think of this as an STGT recruitment night: put on your best face and don't race like Cipriani err...( :laugh ). But seriously... try and be clean and respectful as always. We'll kick asshats as required. I'm not too worried about it. (My biggest fear is being disco'd and losing control of the room).

Car List:
High End Performance G37 '08
Grand Touring Garage Mustang Trans-Cammer '70

Mitsubishi Starion Rally Car, check.

This looks fun, I will have to go with the G37. For some reason I never got along with that trans cammer.

(My biggest fear is being disco'd and losing control of the room).

Either set the room to FIXED (If you disco the whole room crashes), or if FLOATING, make sure there are 2-3-4 Tunas lined up behind you in the room list. That way the room host changes to one of us.

We got your back ... :)

I can't remember ever doing a public event. I look forward to possible bigger crowds.  :D

I'd think FIXED would be the safest route, sure there is a risk of doing the Disco Crash but on the off chance that happens the room can always be restarted and folks can rejoin.  If it's a FLOATER then it means we'd have to have a Tuna present and at the top of the list until the last person leaves to avoid the room being controlled by a landlubber so to speak.

Either way is fine with me though, swimming in the public pool won't scare me off.. proverbially speaking of course :)

Hypothetically speaking here, but what if the pool was filled with my furry friends? They're great swimmers. :P

Hypothetically speaking here, but.. um... yeah. The whole concept of reality has never made sense to furries.... especially the macrofurs.

I had hoped to make it out tonight, but with my Parental Units visiting I may not be able to get on until late.. will try to find some time but it'll probably be after 9pm EST at the very earliest, if I don't make it.. good luck and have fun!

Also to keep on topic with the off topic, I was reminded of an old T-shirt and old friend of mine had..
