The Undy 500 was a success and just like we mirrored the real Indy I would like to do again. There is the Coke Zero 400 @ DSS I want to run the Nothing 400 brought to you by No One. There is also the Brickyard 400 I want to run the Baked's Backyard 400. Again picking real life drivers as our teammates to complete the challenge. Anyone here up for it.
Obviously I am speaking of running the NASCAR cars.
-
Interested... (I was very imterested earlier because I thought it was another FGT race and I need to redeem myself...)
But I'm in. I'll be in either an Impala, Fusion, or a Camry... ;)
-
That looked like fun.
-
Turning left at high speeds? Yup, yup, sign me up.
-
Would like to run our events a few days in front theirs. So that would mean one at the end of this month and next as well.
-
sign me up please :)

Sign me up.
If you wanna run restrictor plates at daytona I believe 535hp was the magic number to match the real thing when I did it back in February. Although a slight decrease may make the cars easier to drive
-
I would like to run this if I can make it.
-
i'd probably dust off my ps3 for this 8)

Date has been chosen June 26 it is a Sunday I am hoping we can still produce a strong field. As for time I am leaning towards late afternoon and am willing to listen to those that can make it that day. Cautions rules as established by Fried for the GT 300/500 series will be in use.

Looks like I have some homework to do.
I am good on the date and later afternoon time works well. Thank you.
-
Date and general time works for me. I guess I need to get working on a tune for the Duckmobile.
-
Just so it is more clear the plan is to run NASCAR cars at a reduced HP at DSS for 160 laps on Sunday afternoon June 26. Drivers don't forget this is a two part event half your points come from your own finishing spot the other half come from whatever real life driver you pick to do well in the Firecracker 400.
-
I'll pick Montoya for this race. If its not too early.
Also, I'll be in his car for our race as well. :)
-
I'll take Kyle Busch, and will be in his M&M car.
-
Hey Baked, I had an idea run through my head recently and I am curious as to what you think.
What do you think about having us choose from only the drivers who have cars depicted in the game and driving the car belonging to our chosen driver? For example Brindle just said he wants to pic Montoya, so he would drive the #42 Target machine.
Sound like a viable Idea?
-
lol dammit chrome I was typing lol
-
Remember real drivers can be chosen by more than one Tuna racer.
Brother Fried has chosen JP Montoya
I will go with Earnhardt Jr. He has been knocking on the door of victory lane this is his week.
-
But aren't there only like 10 NASCAR cars in the game?

But aren't there only like 10 NASCAR cars in the game?
Something like that, I just thought it would be neat to have people driving the cars of the people they want to team with...in truth I think most will prolly do it anyway.
I'm still debating whether I want to go with Jr or Tony Stewart.
-
Then everyone has roughly 1/4 of the drivers to choose from for the actual race. Had PD could have given at least half I would of gone for it.
-
im a maybe for this. i need to see how my schedule will play out. i remember doing this back in february with dlrws. aj allmedinger for me
-
Put me down as a definite possible maybe please. If I can make it I will be in the GameStop Camry. I have no clue about NAStyCAR so will some kind soul please help me choose a co-driver/sponsor
-
I'm going to be driving my Denny Hamlin hot rod and I am choosing Jeff Gordon to win the NASCAR race that week.
nosocks, Some good drivers to consider picking are Jimmy Johnson, Kurt Busch, Kevin Harvick, Greg Biffle, Carl Edwards. Also, if you need any assistance in your set up give me a shout. Though, running reduced HP's is probably going to influence how effective my tune is.
-
Final testing still to be finished up but figure right around 500 horses
-
This has had some favorable responses I am going to post the list of names I have so far. If you are on the list and know you will not be there please let me know. (http://i.imgur.com/LmjyBgx.gif) I guess my ID can be a little difficult.
I'll go with Carl Edwards simply for the whole duck thing.
dlrws6 99 Carl Edwards car/driver :D
-
OK I choose Greg Biffle what a cool NASCAR name(thanks Boston) and the GameStop Camry. Hope I can make it
-
Count me in. Kevin Hardick
-
Is Dick Trickle still running? :laugh
-
Since no one else has I'll go with Tony Stewart.
I have not paid any real attention to Nascar since Dale died so I don't know squat about who is doing what or how, so I'm going to go with what I have. I'll be driving the #14 Old Spice machine.

Nope he is retired and/or racing in the lower series.
If any one wants to join in I'll probably be in my lounge tonight around 8:30 est trying to re-tune my car. I was a little too loose for comfort back in February.

Brian Vickers #83 Red Bull Toyota (he'll be my "buddy" in this effort too...)

Was thinking that myself. Baked said he should be back this evening, so I will leave it up to him.
