I figure it's been long enough I try to pull this off again!
Stolen from I believe Spxshark at the Deathstar, a fun concept I thought that worked out pretty well, and I've been wanting to do it again. (But NO WEATHER this time!!!)
24 hours in 2 hours - Time progression will be set to 12, so for every minute we race IRL, the race clock goes 12. This means that after 1 hour of actual seat time, you've done 12 hours in game time, so 2 hours = 24 hours of time change in race.
Cars selection will be set to GT300 cars by lobby, and tuning will be PROHIBITED. This means any and all adjustable parts will have to be "reset to default" to enter the race.
That should limit it to the following vehicles:
S Autobacs ARTA Garaiya (JGTC) ‘03
S Nissan C-WEST RAZO SILVIA (JGTC) ‘01
S RE Amemiya AMEMIYA ASPARADRINK RX7 (JGTC) ‘04
S Subaru CUSCO SUBARU ADVAN IMPREZA (JGTC) ‘03
S Toyota SUPERAUTOBACS APEX MR-S (JGTC) ‘00
S Toyota WEDSSPORT CELICA (JGTC) ‘03 - Brindle, DesertSniper
P RE Amemiya Amemiya AsparaDrink RX7 (SUPER GT) ‘06 - TunaPhreak, TunaWiz, Nosoks
P Subaru CUSCO DUNLOP SUBARU IMPREZA (SUPER GT) ‘08 - Ronin
P Autobacs ARTA Garaiya (SUPER GT) ‘08 - BallisticTuna
P Lexus Weds Sport IS350 (SUPER GT) ‘08
Other than that, tires will be set to Race Hard, ABS, TC, and Driving Line allowed, all other aids will be off. Slipstream weak, damage light, real track edge, tire/fuel wear on, etc...
Race will be run Friday June 8st 15rd, 10pm EST! Length will be 13 laps!
Feel free to post up your requested cars, but there was enough diversity last time I think we'll see it again automatically this time! Hope to see a nice field out there, and hope I have enough time to learn the track again!

I'll try to make it, if I'm up to it at that time. I have a soft ball game at 7, but that gives me time to get back home.
Even if I were to attend, I wouldn't announce a car. I would just show up with a few and take whatever isn't well represented. That said, I'd probably stick with one of the ones I really like (2 Toyotas, Amemiya, Garaiya)

It won't cut in too much. Starting at 10, optimumly speaking it's should be ending right when the late show is supposed to start so truthfully it'll prolly be maybe five/ten min late

Sweet you guys are awesome, going to update the original with choices. Your excitement has gotten me excited. So much in fact that I realized I made one small major f up. This Friday, the 8st, I will be in AC with family, so I have to push this event back a week to the 15rd. I hope everyone can still make it!

with no tuning allowed, if chassis stiffening has been added we'll need to buy a fresh car. Observation only not a complaint ;D

With tuning prohibited, does this mean I just need to switch to tuning sheet B?

I think it's a little more complicated than that. I've tried that and I'm pretty sure it doesn't work. Of course the game won't let you onto the track until you comply. Usually going into your settings and clicking default on everything does the trick.

Charlie: I purposely put this between the TGITF & Matinee to not step on too many toes. As others have already said, this will be ending right around midnight if not before, so we'd love to have you join in!
nosoks: That's correct, if you've bought the non-removable chassis stiffening you CANNOT get the car to comply.
DS: I've been going to B (or C if I had 2 setups already) but this won't usually be an "everything to default" instantly. You may want to change sheets to preserve your other tune, but as Wolfpack said, you'll more than likely still have to go through the sheets and click "reset to default"
The biggest offenders tend to be aero, transmission, and suspension, but it's always something, I've been able to successfully get everyone of those cars into the lounge with settings set to prohibited. Just gotta reset to default and make sure no parts have been added.

I think I bought a spare Celica a wile back, so I'll just run that. If I don't have one, I may have to change cars.

Chassis rigidity is a major offender, I know I my self get that first thing without thought on almost all cars and I assume others do as well. It doesn't cross my mind until I fail to meet regs and have to leave to buy a new one.

There is no noticeable impact on the cars behavior, it keeps the car more consistent in the long term as miles stack up on the car between chassis rebuilds and increases the amount of miles you can run before needing to rebuild.

Just a heads up. For Father's Day, the kids are taking me to the movies and dinner on friday before they leave for the summer. Not sure what time all of this is going down, but if I'm not on the starting line for the start of the race, you'll know why.
