What a blast!  Man I was going great until lap two...

I mean...until I hit the wall...

I mean...until I decided to try a two stop strategy instead of a three...

I mean...until I ran out of gas...

All kidding aside, I want to thank everyone for a great time!  Sorry I gave myself and my car a concussion.

I too had multiple concussions, with one being head on into a dividing wall.  ;D

Thanks again go out to everyone involved in this race taking place---from those who first conceived the idea to those who helped in testing to those who showed up.

I haven't been on the PS3 so much in months and it was nice to be back.  The track was great, the cars were enjoyable (i.e. rear wheel drive) and it was fun preparing for a longerish race.

We had several months of notice for this, which was plenty because I was jonesing to get the race going weeks ago.  Would like to see an enduro run monthly if possible (assuming the track and cars don't suck).

Thanks for making racing fun for me again.

I'd like to make a personal thanks to the organizers that put together, not only this race, but all the tuna races.  It can be a thankless job trying to come up with new ideas, hours of testing, AND trying to satisfy everyone on staying away from sucky cars/tracks.   That last is an impossibility. My thought ... If I really dont like it, then I should step up to the plate.

I'll be more than happy to attend any event thats posted.  The work has been put in and I'm very grateful for the effort.  Without you, we'd be doing nothing but playing with seasonal events.

Keep up the outstanding dedication!

I'm ready to start practicing for the next one.  I need a track, car list, and specs.

Based on comments I feel like people want to do this exact race again (possibly shorter) or maybe switch cars to the newer ones I listed.  So how about the following options:

A) same cars, same track, slightly shorter race (90 min) on RS tires
B) same cars, same track, same tires, same distance
C) new cars (Viper, GT, Corvette), same track, shorter race (90 min) on RS tires
D) new cars (Viper, GT, Corvette), same track, same tires, same distance

Cast your votes! :)

Love the track, would appreciate a slightly shorter length (my wife says that all the time  :laugh ), want to see how the newer cars work out.  I pick C.

If we are sticking with the same track I vote C or D.  As long as its a Friday or weekend I can tolerate a two hour race. Any other day its got to be shorter.

Any chance we can get something worked out and race in the next couple weeks?  It looks like some of the groundwork has already been laid regarding the cars and PP levels.  If need be, I can run some 20 laps races to test each car and provide feedback on if any car has an advantage.

I agree.

How about we pick choice C this time around (we can return to these cars next time Dude ;) ) and how does November 30th sound?  Rick I know you said "a few weeks" but if we stick to a Friday night that's the earliest I can participate.  I could be open to Sundays of course.

Sundays during football season are bad for me.  I'm open to a Saturday night, except for the whole Drive-in thing, though the Drive-In could be turned into a double feature.

The end of November works for me, just gives me more time to not improve.

Choice C is good. I'll get to work looking for a car.
