that reminds me, could we schedule an evnet for after the mayans say we should have all died and the world ended...

kind of a "haha you were wrong, we're still racing" party?

or is that just inviting a comet to crash into my house?  IDK

I know I'll be laughing my ass off on New Year's Eve when the clock strikes midnight.  I've even got a few "friends" who think there won't be a 2013.  but they will be at the party, so at midnight it will really be hilarious to see their reaction! ;)

Actually it's not new years, but December 21, 2012. Supposedly  ::)

Also, that's a Friday, so maybe something for TGTIF.

It wasn't the Mayans saying the world would end. It was the retards trying to read their calendar that said that.

on both points of clarification re: mayans... Yes I know those things, but my thought was that when 2013 officially begins, those who said there wouldn't be one would officially be wrong and it would then be relatively safe to point and laugh!

yea maybe TGIF would be the venue for that... wizard handles that, right?  hope he sees this...

EDIT: call it "Thank God there's still Gran Turismo and Fridays" (TGTSGT&F)

okay back on topic.

Yup .... new years eve of 2000.  Computers were going to tank because they werent going to understand how to switch from 1999 to 2000.  It was a big bust ....  I had to work that night because of it too.  I was so pissed ... just like everyone else there with me.

NOT fun times ....

One of these days one of them will get it right.. sadly no one will be around to congratulate them :D.

Also a post-end of the world evnet would be great!  Maybe lower horsepower Nascars on the Nurb or something.. it's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine!

well if we are gonna nerf horsepower how about nerfing some FGT's or F1's and maybe even have minimum weight increased by 200kg. so they are run at 500hp and 745kg or something similar. i preffer the FGT's just because they come in a variety of colors. :D

I always thought the end of the world required a Suzuki Escudo Dirt Trial Car (1998).
