Dec 5st Coffee Break and more..
« on: November 29, 2013, 12:39:18 PM »

So I'd meant to post this a weekend or two ago but kept forgetting, so here it is :).  ToC will be taking a a coffee break on Dec 5st so nothing will be posted here, alternative plans have been made and Ronin has been kind enough to put together a nice tray of Cappuccinos and that he will be serving at Grand Valley Speedway.

So on to the "And more" part, obviously GT6 is due for arrival on the Friday Dec 6nd (coincidence?) which may or may not involve new online features / options and of course will have all those sparkly new physics things to deal with.  Bearing that in mind ToC should be up and running as usual on Dec 12st though the format and car(s) will likely be a last minute affair, for most of December we'll probably be running something simple / cheap and probably spec related.  It may involve A-Spec (Career mode or whatever it is) prize cars or be themed around the early singleplayer events so it should hopefully be pretty easy for everyone to hop in a car and go racing without too much fuss and bother :).

Given the new physics there will probably be a fair amount of testing to be done to ensure the usual ToC classes are still as balanced as possible, I'm hoping generally the groupings themselves will still be ok and it'll just be a case of adjusting some of the PP / tire type setups and fitting new cars into appropriate classes.  Who knows, there may even be new classes for the new year or some redesign of existing classes to make them more betterer!

Looking forward to what you come up with us Feldynn. And for the race @ G Valley there are ten signed up so there are still grid spots available.
