Cars must be from 1998 or before because we all know lemons usually taste much better the older they are!  Also only mass produced lemons are allowed, none of those genetically altered racing lemons, though feel free to detune any larger fruits as much as you want to imbue them with lemony goodness :).

Tuning will be limited but only enough to preserve the freshness of the lemons!

Lemon-Aids.. only Driving Line and ABS are allowed but no TC, no ASM, no SRF, or any of that other stuff!

I started by weeding through the 400 or so cars that would qualify for this evnet...got it whittled down to 15, then to 6, now down to three...These are some of the cars I looked at in order to determine: a) Their best capabilities; b) My best capabilities; and c) a pen hurled at the following list I taped to the wall from a distance of fifteen feet (I missed the wall):

Audi S4 '98
Mazda Efini RX-7 Type RZ (FD) '95
Nissan Skyline GTS_t Type M (R32) '89
Toyota Celica GT-FOUR (ST205) '98
Nissan/Datsun Fairlady Z 280Z-L 2 seater (S130) '78
Chevrolet Corvette coupe '63

There are a lot moar (I'm sure - as Feldynn can attest) from which to choose.....It only took me 4-1/2 hours to narrow it down to these six. :palm

From the little bit of testing I did on DeepForest reverse the other night I sort of found that the lemoniest choices actually turned out really good, crap cars you wouldn't expect to work were matching times with good cars you'd expect to do well :D.  I'm thinking it's turning out to be a sort of "tune your own low base shuffle race" type thing, all the oddball cars you get in the shuffle that usually suck because of stock gearing / LSD type issues turn out to be not half bad :).

I have a feeling..
