And a great "Day One" of racing it was too!  Love the format as well, the 3 medium length races with a short break between seemed to work great.  Should be some interesting pictures too, seemed like there were some good close racing moments particularly with Dawson and Fried drafting eachother for most all of Monza and La Sarthe :).

Goos times!

Sorry to miss it. These races take place at 7am here but it's not a problem...I was jacked for this event. The problem was.... I gotta wait till they feed the fuckin hamsters at the providers site before I can get on and stay on. I'll try again next week. After a while this morning I did succeed in getting on and was invited to another medium length race with some Aussie guys I run with........... you guessed it....... kicked again....double fuck.
Finally around 11am got on and had some fun with some Tunas :D

Thank you. I appreciate everyone who came out and ran with it. I'll have the results up later on today, I would have had them up last night but I put them in my work bag and forgot to bring the work bag to work  >:(

As time goes by I intend to expand this GT-2 class to include more cars that I left out and depending on the results of the class test race I might even assemble a GT-3 class to have handy even though I doubt a full four class race is going to be possible at any time in the foreseeable future.

Great event Ronin, and thank you again for putting this together.  Lots of close racing was had and everyone seemed to have fun.  I had a great time wringing out my purple walrus around the variety of tracks you chose for us.  If a similar series pops up again in the future I will probably enter it again.

Fried, hat's off to you on a near sweep.  I apologize for our contact 2/3ths of the way thru the speedway race that hampered your chances at another victory.  My heart was pumping hard that whole time we had the draft train going.  Figures I'd be the one to ruin a good thing  :(

Thanks.

Results are updated and this event is officially completed, Congrats to Brindle for the series points championship (Not that there was any question after week one but still lol). Congrats to the podium finishers as well, most notably Cip who thought his car was trash

Though my performance in 2 of the last 3 races was pretty terrible (car didn't seem to handle the same come race day as it did during practice last week) it was a fun quick series nonetheless!

Also I really liked the format too with the 3 races about 20-30 minutes each per meeting, perhaps that's something that will be used again in the future :).

Thanks for running it Ronin!
