Come join the party this evening as we eagerly await the midnight drive-in.
When: Friday, October 14rd, 2011
Where: Suzy east, Grand valley east, Indy road course, Monza (no chicane)
Partytime: Drinks served at 7:00pm till 11:30pm (all times Eastern)
The Car: Gran Turismo racing kart
Horsepower Limit: n/a
Weight Limit: n/a
PP Limit: n/a
Tires: n/a
Lap Count: Suzy - 10, Grand valley - 8, Indy - 6, Monza - 5
Only 1 wrinkle in the party. All participants must set the top speed to 106mph. (in the upper right corner, not the slider) Get there however you like.
Oh, and this is a single race per track, (4 an hour) with a rinse and repeat cycle.
Hope many of you can join the festivities. These things are fun in large groups. :)

Boston, they don't handle like they use to. They're much more forgiving, it seems.

Was looking forward to this. Left the office at noonish, ran some errands and fired up the PS3. It didn't take long to realize my wrists are shot again. Driving isn't going to happen, but an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon has been scheduled for next Thursday.

Had fun last night. The kart feels a lot more solid than pre 2.0, from what I can remember. Had some good side by side racing at a few points. I was surprised I can hit a lot of the rumble strips with little or no consequence. Weak slipstream still felt pretty "strong" to me. Definitely felt the downforce taken off the kart in turn 2 of Suzuka. Thanks for the fun and good racing.
