Had a lot of fun too, I was surprised how relatively well the cars seemed to stack up against each other without any tuning!  Also gave me some useful test data / ideas for some other ToC classes I'm planning :).

I had a lot of fun as well.  I came to a few conclusions last night.  1. Even if they are slow compaired to some of the other cars, the original viper coupes are fun... I want one. 2. I think a Viper cup series would be cool.  Maybe with a stock ACR Viper or a lightly modded GTS. 3. I'd do this again.  :laugh

I want to send out an apology for my horrible driving last night. I'm never any good if I show up late and try to just race. I need some seat time in the car to know how to drive it. And that dang F40 was a bear getting out of first without spinning the tires. Lord.

Anyways, I hope to try an alternative to the mic I've been using tonight and see if it works or not. I hate typing on that thing. LOL. Thanks for organizing this Feld.

I'd also like to throw out a request .... since today is my HNCD (happy new car day), could we get a drive one of these nights in unmodified stock Miatas? That'd make MX very happy.   :)

Thanks,

MX

The Viper GTS has always been one of my favourite sports cars, I've found with they handle really nice with fixed suspension, close-ratio transmission and a couple of power bolts, I'd definitely be interested in some sort of Viper Cup series like that with the GTS.  I seem to remember something on the PSN forums using the ACR Viper, I want to say it was called the Scream GT series but I wasn't involved with it at the time and I haven't looked in a while.

I can't think of any cars offhand that would work good with the stock Miatas but I'll look.  I do think it could make for a good TuTu race one night so I'll pass it on to HotStepper too :).

Hehe well yeah but that's what I kinda what I meant, if it was just the '07 Roadster or maybe any Roadster / Miata / MX-5 at 390PP it'd be about perfect for a TuTu event :)

For ToC I'd be thinking more along the lines of a handful of different cars including the Miatas, like a Miata Vs. other similar convertibles at the same PP like we did last night, I just need to do some research and see what cars have similar stock stats, there's already a class for lower power convertibles so I can probably use that as a base :).

Another idea ... just let everyone show up with what the drove in Time Trial #50. I had a decent time in the Miata in the 400PP race. And I have Chrome's tune for the Elise 111R for the other one Would be a fun night of racing with cars we've already tuned. Easy peasy.
