All right, I know I want to do another Multi-class race but I am not sure of the particulars so lets discuss and see if we can't get this set up for mid to late June.
I have narrowed down
Track selection (click name if you are unsure of the track configuration):
1: Nürburgring GP/F (http://www.mygranturismo.net/track_sheet.php?id=13) +4 votes
2: Autodromo Nazionale Monza (http://www.mygranturismo.net/track_sheet.php?id=19)
3: Fuji Speedway F (http://www.mygranturismo.net/track_sheet.php?id=1)
4: Suzuka Circuit (http://www.mygranturismo.net/track_sheet.php?id=3)
5: Grand Valley Speedway (http://www.mygranturismo.net/track_sheet.php?id=32) +1 votes
Classes:
LMP, GT-1, GT2
or
GT-1, GT-2, GT-3r +4 votes
Milage:
1: 200
2: 250 +4 votes
3: 300
So, What track do we want to run what cars on for how long?
-
I was thinking 250 at Nürburgring GP/F with GT-1, GT-2, GT-3r my self.
-
I'm all about some Grand Valley. :D

What classes combination and how many miles do you think?
-
Feldynn, Tanker, Croonah and my self did some brief testing at Fuji last night before work.
Here is the assembled estimates for Fuji.
Fuji - 2.835mi
Race distance
200 = 071 laps
250 = 088 laps
300 = 106 laps
lap times, Average driver.
DLMP - No Data
GT-1 - 1:35.xxx
GT-2 - 1:43.xxx
GT-3r - 1:49.xxx
Approximate time frame
200 mi:
DLMP - No Data
GT-1 - 1.8 hours
GT-2 - 2.0 hours
GT-3r - 2.5 hours
250 mi:
DLMP - No Data
GT-1 - 2.4 hours
GT-2 - 2.6 hours
GT-3r - 3.1 hours
300 mi:
DLMP - No Data
GT-1 - 2.9 hours
GT-2 - 3.2 hours
GT-3r - 3.7 hours
Bare in mind these estimates are based on lap times of average drivers, with out draft and without tire/fuel consumption and processed with my somewhat under developed math skills.
Never the less I plan on testing all five tracks with at least the GT cars in the coming week so I'll be able to provide more information to help thought processes.

I wouldn't mind a 250 or 300 mile run, but i'm cool with whatever is popular, cause the more the merrier on this one. Would be great to have 3 full classes.

Yeah this is kinda what we need to have happen if this is going to have happen. Just two or three cars per class ain't much fun and not a lot of point to it. That is why I brought it up this way to get input and attempt to maximize the participation.
-
I like the gp/f idea with the three GT classes you guys mentioned. 250 miles is ok
I must point out that with only 12 to 16 cars, three classes with always mean low numbers per class, that's just the way it is. If you want better racing with bigger numbers per class, it's better to use two classes.
-
-250 miles is the distance I vote for
-GT-1, GT-2, GT-3 is the grouping I vote for
-Nurburgring GP/F sounds good to me
I would like to suggest that if race attendance is 12 cars or less only allow for 2 classes of race cars.
I would also like to just mention that I will be unavailable to race the following dates in June: 1-3, 8 (TunaPhreak having a race then), 10, 17, 22-24 and 30. I'm not demanding that you accommodate me - just stating when I'm unavailable to help you pick a date for maximum participation. On the 10th I actually am free, but not till 3pmish. :P

Today is June 3rd. What's the deal with this 'race"? It gonna happen?

I was hoping to get a little more discussion in on it but it is getting to that point. I'll get it put together right here directly.
