Also, some talk of rooms not showing up in lobby. Fix may be simple it's the last post in this short thread.

Sounds as if it is fixed already
Sounds more like the issue was fixed and now is back to effed up again

Looks like the work around is to announce the room #.

- The update 1.09 bug where the car view changes to the cockpit view every time you start an event has been fixed. It now keep the view you were previously using.

That really baffled me during drunk driving but I figured it had something to do with the beer not the game.

Yikes ... that seems pricey. But then again .... after painting your calipers, you can go to GTA and get a $600 haircut.   :-\ :-\

The painted racing calipers I put on 2 cars (Cleo 24V and the RUF 3400S) cost $1500 per set.  Gotta say, it does add to the look of the car.  Great for those that like photos.  Unnoticeable in a race.  Too busy to look at your brakes. :D

Also,  the Nissan Vision GT car has an active KERS system.   8)
To use it, press the button assigned to NOS.  (Gotta remap my wheel.  I don't think I have a NOS button).  It regenerates during breaking/coasting.  It has 3 bars to indicate how much you have.

Some guys on gtplanet have said they ran it without knowing about it, then went back and knocked off huge chunks of time compared to what they previously ran.

Not all cars can have number plates.  Looks like standard cars are out.  Active list of cars being built at GTP.

I'm at a '42 and can't seem to get electric NOS to work as you describe. I checked it and it is mapped to a button and does function. I tested by using said NOS on a Merc in some free run test around Daytuna.

I checked one of the top replays and I did not see anything different then what I have. A red arrow pointing left when on throttle.

I think I need to find more time elsewhere. :)

The boost doesn't work in the seasonal TT.

noticed since 1.09(?) my Ford GT Spec II test car has trouble getting out of the pits. engine bogging and back tires getting orange. In fact while practicing for an upcoming Laguna Seca event it gets stuck getting round the corner at the bottom of the pit lane  :o for up to 10 seconds.

Anyone else get shit on by the network last night?  I got disco'd from my own room and a friend's room.  And got the following messages (paraphrasing some):

- "you do not have permission for online access until you review online policies"
-"Disconnected from networks due to data loss"
-"unable to access server ID = 2:6399"

Anyone else have problems last night?  I was able to do both VGT car events but after that everything went to hell ::)

Didn't have any issues getting kicked last night but I did spend a little time in my own lounge doing some testing, Baked and Tanker dropped in and it seemed ok but when I left the lobby (a bit before 1am EST I think) I was presented with a message about GT servers being down for maintenance.  I wonder if they were doing some kind of server side hotfixes or something.

I have been getting the "you have been disconnected due to data loss"  way more than I would like.

Several friends had issues last night.

Thanks for the feedback 77.  The GT6 network for me, since the game's debut, has been on average better than it was for GT5.  But the last 10 days or so have been horrible.  I had more disconnects last night, so I said fuck it and hardwired my internet connection and it worked fine then.  But every other wireless device in the house has continued to work just fine.

So I really don't know what to think right now.  :-\

It has been stated many places, many times. You should always hardwire the PS3 if at all possible.
