But for years I haven't needed to.

Also the wireless router and PS3 are not in the same room so I can't permanently leave it hardwired.

Thanks for the feedback 77.  The GT6 network for me, since the game's debut, has been on average better than it was for GT5.  But the last 10 days or so have been horrible.  I had more disconnects last night, so I said fuck it and hardwired my internet connection and it worked fine then.  But every other wireless device in the house has continued to work just fine.

So I really don't know what to think right now.  :-\

It has been stated many places, many times. You should always hardwire the PS3 if at all possible.

Mentioned this in Baked's room tonight. A glimmer of hope for Logitech and, by association, Fanatec.... maybe.....

Kazunori confirmed that there is still much to come for Gran Turismo 6, stating that “we’re planning to launch big updates for GT6 soon”. These updates will likely include features announced for the game, including a new Course Maker, B-Spec mode, and expanded online “community features”.

Now we're talking. Bring it on!!!

This one sentence brings weary thoughts about that soks.  I hope I am very wrong.

'Rushy' reveals that Evolution is working with Thrustmaster and Logitech to ensure its PS4 wheels are compatible with DriveClub,

Good news on the GT6 front.  C'mon course creator!!!

I still sit here reading this news from my IBIWISI(TM) Lawn Chair, for I still won't believe it until I see it :), however it IS interesting news indeed.  I wonder if the course creator and "community features" are inexorably linked somehow, perhaps for the sharing / distribution of tracks so they can be used online with relative ease?

inexorably linked?  Probably not.  But PD does seem to be more of the mindset lately of wanting to give us ALL of a feature once it's all ready, rather than bits and pieces, and so if that follows to the course creator, they may not want to give us the CC until we can easily share those tracks, or not give us the community features withough a "share track" button somewhere, out of fear of criticism.

There is a plus and minus to both ways they have done things...

EDIT:  Wow that was a long run-on sentence!

I took that to be some sort of typo, unless they have secretly come back to making console compatible wheels again.

thanks.

I'd bet that has more to do with getting online issues worked out than an update, but I hope we also get an update with some goodies... a boy can wish...

 :stoopid:

Pretty sure I got to the bottom of this.  Called AT&T today to complain about horrid internet speeds and I see on their website that the speeds I'm getting are 1.5 Mbps download and 256kbps upload.  I'm paying for 6 down, 3 up.  I can't fucking believe this.  These idiots somehow made an error somewhere along the time and sacked me, figuratively speaking.  I'm still being billed for the faster package.  Should be resolved before the weekend, and I should be getting some serious credit for my account.

Oh, and the icing on the cake is this damned website still says that "U-Verse is available in my area".  No, it fucking isn't.  It wasn't 2 years ago, it wasn't 1 year ago and because it was posted on the website i checked again today and thus, no it's not avaialble today.  Asshats  >:(
