There's another maintenance July 1rd. Unusual in two respects. A week after a "maintenance", and 3.5 hours long.   :-\

That sounds like long enough to release it, have a few people test it, find out what's broken, and release a couple hot-fixes :D   ::)

It is bad enough using a wheel.

It felt like the steering wheel has gone to the 90 degree lock-to-lock.  Did Logitech with PD plant a bug with the car to change the steering wheel rotation to force people to buy the new G29?  I hate the steering sensitivity with the SRT X.  Stupid Stupid Stupid.  I have never cursed so much within a short timeframe.

Don't feel bad. After 6+ hours of attempts, I have yet to complete a full lap of the Ring in the car. 

However, what I can do, I can do fast.  ;)

OK...this is what I did with the event settings to actually drive around the track once and get 5:44 (tried again after completing alt account, and got 4:55) on my main account, then 5:27 on my secondary account:
Traction Control = 3
ASM = On
ABS = 1
FF Max Torque = 1
FF Sensitivity = 3

I tried various combo and found I get to be a bit more relax when setting the Torque = 1 & Sensitivity = 3.  The car still skips, but it felt a bit more manageable with my G27 wheel.  About the 5th or 6th tries, clean lap.

Only accelerate on straights, coast or gently ride the brake for the turns.

At first I was like whatever, but upon thinking about this. It might be possible to create actual real world tracks we do not have. Hello Circuit of the Americas and many other fine tracks.  :)

I'd like to try to put together the kart track from Mosport. I'd even have a go at the road course. I hope it works as people seem to think it will.
