BAHRAIN GP this weekend.

Give that track a run Wiz.

Aye.  Only good enough for 11th this week.   This track is extremely difficult in my opinion.  Probably one of the hardest tracks to get all your lines right.  I don't have much experience with this track either.  And that's precisely why I've been doing this.  Putting in seat time at tracks I'm not that familiar with.  It's been a pretty fun experiment so far.  :)

Bahrain Q 1:35.294

You have a p3 in practice times. We will see where you fall after qualifying. :)

Dominant race by Vettel but it was still a very exciting race.  Good racing with Alonso, Rosberg and Vettel at the beginning and some great mid pack battles for most of the race.  Perez spent the race pissing people off including Button, his own team mate.  Poor Rosberg.  Got pole but spent most of the race trying to stop people from passing him.  Raikkonen and Di Resta went for a two stop race (instead of 3).  Kimi managed to finish second but Di Resta couldn't hold off Grosjean for the last podium spot.

I wonder if Rosberg was light on fuel and had to dial the engine back? Alonso's broken wing killed him, but he did well to get some championship points. After China Martin whitmarsh told perez to toughen up.  So it sounds like they got what they asked for. I personally think he did well and he out scored Button.

I agree it was an awesome race. Now we have to wait 3 weeks for Barcelona where the teams will be bringing up grades.

Good Lord... the variances between top and bottom are insane! The third highest paid driver is making more than 100 times what the cheapest driver makes. Incredible.

In F1 these days you have the drivers who race and get paid because they are really talented and you have the drivers who pay to drive.  It would be interesting to compare the wages above with the sponsorships that they bring to the team.  Chilton has his ride because of his rich daddy.  150,000euro is probably less than his allowance.
