"Kimi signs for Ferrari"

From www.thejudge13.com

The Iceman cometh again! Sources at Ferrari close to TJ13 has indicated a deal is done. Kimi Raikkonen has signed a 3 year contract with Ferrari and will return to the scarlet cars in 2014. It seems Raikkonen used the Red Bull conversations to barter a better deal with Ferrari.

Webo's open seat for '14 opened up a lot of possibilities. I would like to see Jules Bianchi in some better equipment sooner rather than later. Plus the whole of F1 is changing in regards to drivers. Today most drivers need a sponsor with large amounts of cash to get a drive, even if we are talking midfield teams. It is very sad. At least Bianchi is connected to Ferrari in their young driver program. Perhaps we could see Kimi paired with Bianchi for 14 in the red cars.

I admire raw speed. I'm a Hammy fan and see similarities between him and Grosjean. Both have a lot of raw speed and both were/are being punished early in their F1 careers for some really awesome moves on track. That most would agree were racing incidents or just extreme punishment for infractions most drivers were committing without the same punishment.

It will be interesting to see what happens to Webber's seat.  If Kimi were to go to Red Bull it would be interesting.  Grosjean probably got overpenalized last race but you don't get into as many incidents as he did last year without many of them being your fault.  It's nice to see passing in F1 but I draw the line with Perez's performance at Monaco.

In general, I'm for anybody but Alonso.  Something about his attitude and demeanour rubs me the wrong way and I'm not sure he was completely innocent in the Piquet Jr. scandal.  I probably root for Vettel mostly because he is in the best position to beat Alonso.  I like Kimi's attitude.  It reminds me of some Finns that I know.

Read on www.thejudge13.com today

Whoever invented Budweiser…We love you! According to German publication Sport Bild, Kimi admitted having signed for Ferrari. In a party with friends in Helsinki, having had one or two too many, admitted to friends that he signed a deal worth €11m per year as well as bonuses and sponsorship for his motocross team.
