I'm still a little baffled by the Alonso injury.  First it was a little bizarre being told he wasn't injured right off the bat.  Then he had to stay in hospital for 3 days and then he was ruled out for the Australian GP over three weeks before it was to start.  Those aren't signs of a minor concussion.  Apparently, no one even knows why the accident occurred in the first place.  Something is going on that we are not being told.

It was definitely not a electric shock. Something did happen to Fernando though and tests do not show anything wrong. (sound familiar Baked?)

You are right Wiz, there may be one or two amazing passes in an entire season. I just can't get into Nascar or Indy car and WEC events are few and far between.

P1 and P2 will be Mercs. P3 perhaps a Ferrari. McHonda will probably not make it to the finish.

Qualifying was exciting. The Ferrari's have some good long run pace. It could end up being a fight for the podium between Vettel and Raikkonen. Williams may run one car due to Bottas' back pain, or Susie Wolff may actually get in the car.

They should put her in the car rather than park it. Seems like a simple decision to make if for nothing else it would be noticed by every media outlet the world over not just the racing media either.

My my, McLaren Honda blew an engine (Haahaa) in the warm up.  Redbull Renault slowed down too.  Well, the way it is going, we are going to have a very small starting grid.

So Susie is just a test driver not a reserve driver.  She won't be racing next week if Bottas is still out.  I guess she just got her job because she is married to Toto.

It looks like it is going to be a boring season.  Mercedes is more dominant.  Renault engines are worse.  Honda is awful.  At least Ferrari is better.  Hamilton looks like he has kicked it up a notch.  I don't think that Rosberg is going to come close.
