At least for now, I feel like doing this again.  I think I have most of the F1 tracks on the calendar this year in Assetto Corsa, with the exception of whatever the fuck Baku City Circuit is.  The car is a 2009 Williams FW31 so it isn't the best comparison, but it's the only F1 mod in AC I like, so to keep me interested it's the one I'm going to use.

1:24.344, good enough for 3rd.

If this past weekends race is any indication, it looks like there might actually be a race for the championship this year.  Also nice to see Haas do well their first time out.

Nice run Wiz.

Unfortunately dlrws6 Melbourne is never much of an indicator as the track is quite unique. It's my belief that the radio restrictions meant the Merc drivers did not have the clutch bite point at the proper setting. Toto Wolf mentioned the excessive amount of slip they saw on Hamilton's car during the warm up lap.

I would guess the Mercs are still a second or more a lap quicker. There will be some tracks that favor Ferrari though so we can always hope for some exciting racing.

that :stoopid: said each little group had their own good battles going. As a long time McLaren fan was good to see them racy.

Fernando Alonso will not be driving for Mclaren this weekend due to fractured ribs from the Australian GP crash. Mclaren reserve driver Stoffel Vandoorne will fill in.

Stoffel is a very proficient driver, sure he'll do a good job
also I see we still got the "need for speed" qualifying

Yep. It's a cluster fuck and I'm still not entirely clear on exactly why Q will continue to be fucked this weekend. So it looks like I'll have plenty of free time during qualifying to drink my Effen vodka. (For real it's on sale at Costco, so I got some)

Good enough for 5th this week.  I've always struggled here.

Excellent time Wiz.

Today the 1.6 liter V6 hybrid ran the fastest lap ever there. Outdoing the V10.

now Indonesia has a vested interest in F1, they have overlayed the commentary with their own for the live feed. (its ok on the rerun) I was pleased to hear in their commentary that the poll sitter was Louie Hamilton    Also someone at some point went to the pitlane for a splash n dash
also also Pascal Wehrlein team mate of RIO HARIANTO  was running well while RIO HARIANTO OF INDONESIA was running at the back. ahhhhhh national pride :)
