As you may or may not have figured out by now, the Monday Night Grand Touring, A Hundred and Fifty Miles of Spa Francorchamps and the 200 miles of Laguna Seca have all been test beds for something greater.

Now it's time to begin testing for the ultimate goal. This test will be a short and simple single race shootout at the Road course of Daytona. Again as in the previous races there will be restrictions based on the cars numbers. *See fine print for details.

       - Start time  - Qualifying begins at 8:30pm Eastern time Race begins at 9:00pm Eastern sharp

       - Only four entrants per class to keep some semblance of balance
       - Once a car is chosen a driver may not change his car.
       - Car selection is first come first serve.
       - No instances of Duplicate Numbers *
       - Disconnects during a race will be treated as a DNF due to mechanical failure.  

    --Fine Print--
*  - Like before Cars are restricted to only one car per class can bare a number. If more than one car of the same class have the same number, only one is eligible. Once one car baring a number is chosen any other cars in that class that have the same number are considered ineligible. Duplicate number clause dose not apply to cars of another class. In other words the number 4 can appear on a LM-P, GT-1 and GT-2 cars simultaneously. RM, TC and Stealth cars with personalized numbers are limited to four and can not bare a number found on a non personalizable car of the same class. Cars are also restricted to numbers consisting of one or two digits. This means if a car has a three digit number such as the Blue RX-7 LM #202 are not eligible.

**  LM-P's must start in the back behind GT-1 who are to start behind GT-2

Yes ten laps. I want the race to be reasonably short in duration but still long enough to gauge the level of separation between the classes and I feel ten laps should be just enough.

I'm not 100% sure I'll be able to make this but if I do, I'd like to drive the Bentley Speed 8.

I'm not 100% sure I'll be able to make this but if I do, I'd like to drive the Bentley Speed 8.

Ok, I'll list you both as "undecided" for right now. But if some one comes along and steals your car before you decide to commit you'll have to make another selection when and if you decide to commit to it. Also with cars with variable numbers like the stealth cars, RM's and TC's I'll want your running number so it can be listed with you so no one can steal your number out from under you.

Well, I used the existing template from races I wanted to get run and completed before I had to leave for work, since I don't have to work on Friday nights I can push the start time back some for this as long as it's not too late for the East coasters. I could go as late as 9:00PM if that would work out better.

I am positive you are not alone in that. Would 9 be acceptable though? I'm positive this race will take less than an hour if not less than half an hour.
