I have been confused about a few of the cars being an either or situation and. It just hit me(insert slow joke here) it is because of shared numbers that some choices will get eliminated. Am I understanding that correctly?

Yes, that is exactly what it is.

OK mind if I ask what the number has to do with it? I get curious some times.

The primary reason.....It's one of my biggest pet peeves with this game. Numbers are on the car for a reason and it's not to make them prettier. Having multiple cars of the same class with the same number on the raceway at the same time is just plain wrong.

Additionally this does promote some variety as well. If I did not have this restriction, how many people do you recon would want to drive the 908's largely because they are premium and reasonable to drive right out of the box? It's in our nature, People will all ways flock to what is perceived as the the "Go To" car. This stipulation prohibits that, The R10, the C60's the Bently they will all compete with the 908. Some people just need some added incentive to get into them is all.

I can understand wanting a diverse field and if that is the sole reason I would understand as I have a sincere appreciation for such fields. But the logic of limiting a car based on the number it carries I don't get. The original purpose of the numbers was for scoring from the tower. But even all three of the local kart tracks have electronic scoring with transponders required on every kart making numbers even at that level superfluous. Here in the cyber world where the scoring is definetly electronic I just don't get it. But like I said was just asking out of curiousity. :-)

I would like to switch cars if I may.  I would like to enter with the Pescarolo-Courage - Judd GV5 Race Car '04 (Green) or Courage C60 - Peugeot Race Car '03 (Green) #17

So this is running at 9pm now?  I might just be able to make that.  I'll check back in closer to the date and see if you're still looking to fill up any class.

Yes, 9 PM, Friday nights are good for me because I don't have to work and it's a better time for the west coasters.

Here I go...Looks interesting Ronin, I can usually race on Friday nights also, but I don't want to 'sign up' How about I show up, you tell me what class to run in, and I take part? I'll 'even out the field' I have lots of cars ready for GT-1 or GT-2. I could run an LMP too. If there's no room when the time comes, that's fine.
