yes that seems tobe glitchy sometimes.  it may update yoru time once and display the time, but then if you beat it again the new one won't pop up on your screen.

the time DOES get saved, it just doesn't look like it.

going out and back in works.

I know how it is, though.  You want that INSTANT gratification.

The other glitch I noticed is with engine sounds.

In Bumper view, it plays two sounds, a bass engine sound and a treble engine sound.  If you do a run and it takes you back to that Session's menu, the next time you do a run from bumper view (w/o exiting game that is) will not play the treble sound.

If you cycle through the views real quick, the sounds are okay again.

Is it really that hard to get your best time to show in the friends leader boards?

First of all, are you fast enough?

Second, I've found if I go to the next test, then back, it'll show the up to date time.

i'm glad this happened to more people than just me! i didn't know about the exit/come back trick, so i usually got frustrated and tried the test again and set a faster time that ended up saving :D

At the time I made that post they did not show at either mygranturismo.net and granturismo.com but now they are showing at granturismo.com, that's the important one so...fukit it's moot.

NUMBER 5: "The clock broke?"
No Croonah, I thought we went over this, PD did not buy your excuse that your blistering speeds must have broken the clock artificially inflating your times.

NUMBER 4: "The timer went out for a coffee while you were racing"
That FUCKING piece of shit

NUMBER 3: "You had to let the dog out"
Yeah, it's a valid excuse, look at what happened to Ballistic when he did not let the cat out quick enough

NUMBER 2: "Your comment, 'you FUCKING piece of shit' was not well received by the Marshalls
Well...He'll think twice before toddling off for coffee won't he.

Sad, any idea what the cheaters were doing that caused the change / reset?  I haven't bothered watching any replays this time around.

Maybe this is a good thing though, ironing out some of the potential bugs / issues now before it gets to a stage where times actually count for something other than cars with little square Academy decals on then.

I have not even looked at the events yet but Soks said Sarthe, One thing I learned about Sarthe wile out slumming in the open lobbies is that shortcut detection does not start until the yellow lines instead of the white meaning corners can be cut down as deep as fifteen feet from racing surface before the shortcut detection kicked. That said I am going to assume it is another case of cutting the track.
