It sounds as if you are being unnecessarily hard on yourself, Rick.

Ever since the GT3 time trial days, I knew I'd never be as fast as most of the drivers that I raced with. Big or small group, I ended up in the middle, sometimes at the back, rarely at the front.

I don't get anywhere near as much seat time as I used to or as much as many of you get, so I struggle more and make more mistakes, but I figger if Richard Petty can put on a good show for decades after his prime, most of us can, too.

Rick, you had an off night. Also, how can you compare yourself with 2 of the top 20  out of how many? 100,000? It's just a game for us;)

To be fair to Rick it is relative. He might have slowed a bit but seat time both his and his competitors is the culprit. Many Tuna have improved from a relaxed fun atmosphere that encouraged more seat time. And many guys have gotten better, the modesty is cool but we can look around and know there is some decent talent when you attend even casual unannounced events. I think we walk a nice balance between guys that are somewhat casual but can throw down better than the average duffer.

Exalt right under a users name is as close as it gets to a like button.

My Leaf was sitting in the gift receptacle today, seems like the Academy cars are starting to trickle in like an aged hound with inconsistent incontinence :).

So I actually have to manually move it to the circular file
