An open lobby shuffle! Bring your best face as this is an official "recruitment evnet."

Tires: Whatever your car comes with
Game Mode: Shuffle Race
Shuffle Base: 480
Shuffle Ratio: 4
Lounge: Public lobby
Opening Track: Trial Mountain Reverse
And remember, now matter what car you are dealt, NUT UP AND DRIVE IT!
The goal is to have the open room set up around 7:30. I will post the super secret password here as soon as I have it. Hopefully we'll have some tuna in there not too long after in case a line of succession is needed.
Also: I would like to post this at PSN if no one has objections. I am also requesting a wee bit of help to do so as I am sure they have some nazi-esque rules about posting events AND the fact that every time I try and log in over there I receive a message akin to "Hey buddy, go screw yourself" as my password is apparently no longer my password. There are people around here far more familiar with the death star than I, so if they would be kind enough to raise their hands, I'd appreciate it.

I think I've managed to log in (we'll see)... but what sort of inane posting rules do I need to know before I attempt it? I was gonna do a little write up for TuTu and the event and then add the details. Anything I should know?

Stepper this is your event now and you have been running it well for several months this question of yours is not needed. Your judgement is trusted and while I hope the Tuna board will long remain yours and TuTu's home if you want to get the word out feel free to do so as you see fit. In many cases I am sure I do not speak for everyone but in this case I cannot imagine anyone objecting.

in case you didn't know about it, can't think of any other spurious rules beyond the general "Rated E for Everyone" nature of the board.

yea, there aren't really any restrictions to posting events that are published. Just "if it's an event, put it in the events section" pretty simple.
You can see some not-so-well-thought-out events that are listed there, and they very rarely get locked... just float to the bottom of the pool because they aren't well-organized.
I for one, am happy to see this posted there, and it's strange that just a day or so prior, I mentioned HotStepper's name in a time trial thread (Wiz and I were talking about last year's academy and what our FL looked like with respect to final rankings...)

I was not at last nights race, but if past experience is anything to go by, then yes.
Basically just be patient and remember slow is fast. 8)

Ehhh ... no problemo. I kept refreshing the room for a few minutes waiting for someone to drop, but I wasnt patient enough. It was getting onto 9:30 and sleepiness was settling in.
Besides, it was an evnet to attract some new members. Whats the sense in having a public room full of tuna's .... ;)
