Between 1997 and 1998, IMSA (International Motor Sports Association, the then organizers of both the 12 Hours of Sebring and 24 Hours of Daytona) ran a class called GT3 (also called GTS-3). This week we are running any of the road car versions in GT5 that had a race car variant that competed in the 24 Hours of Daytona (in 1997) or the 12 Hours of Sebring in these classes in this time period. Car list is below.
Car: Any from the list below

Looks like a good call will try to be there. :)
-
I set one of each up, except for the RUF. :) I was unable to get either one of my two RUF's to 440pp.

In the spirit of fairness, that's probably a good thing. Don't worry tho, when we run IMSA GTS-2 (or GTS-1) the CTR2 is allowable, albeit at a higher pp, so it should work then. :)

I'm actually glad I don't have to drive it. :)

I've narrowed my choices down to 2 - the 1rd car is rated the best choice, the 2st car is one of my favorites. And no, they the #'s don't relate to the posted order of the cars on the list.
Testing begins today....I'll have a choice for tomorrow night and hope to attend.

Looks like I'm getting suckered into going out to dinner around 6 (insert whip sound effect here). I prolly won't be there until after 8... don't by shy about starting the room up whenever!

Won't you be surprised when you notice the part about no tuning. ^-^

(http://i583.photobucket.com/albums/ss272/james_mikel/STGT%20forum/facepalmsmiley.gif) "Doh"! Actually, I ran 3 different cars around DRC today, just to get the "feel" for their handling characteristics....... I got the one I can drive best. Problem is that they won't allow carts at DRC with the other cars. :'(

My money is on the NSX to be voted most kart like for the night. ;)
-
The NSX is about 4-5 miles/hr faster than some of the others, but unwieldy in braking into turn 1 - one needs to brake on the straighter portion in order to control step out. My first impression was to go with the NSX, but after due consideration, I'll probably go with the NSX. (http://i583.photobucket.com/albums/ss272/james_mikel/STGT%20forum/icon_beuj.gif)
Or perhaps one of the RX-7's, maybe, uhm, well possibly. Actually, I'm not sure now that you questioned my powers of reasoning (which, are, of course, limited at best). :laugh

Don't'cha just love women? They rule our very existence.....except for me (Married three times - lost all three contests). I have no more money to give away. Anyway, Stepper, thanks for avoiding my reanimation debut, LOL. I just knew if I posted that I was attending, the attendance would drop off - Just Kidding! Enjoy your dinner and we'll see ya when she allows you back into the "wimp" cave, LOL.
BTW: YOU GUYS NEED TO LOG IN EARLY TODAY AND LOG OFF TO BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE ONLINE PORTION OF THE GAME TONIGHT DUE TO ONLINE MAINTENANCE TODAY.

i'm coming if the interwebz allow..... haven't been ontrack wit da Allstar for a coons-age.
Also... had shittier than usual connection today because the "red cable" under the sea between Sumatra and Java had an un named problem. They claim it will be fix'd by 6pm local time

It's just the NSA tapping into the line to get that last corner of the world ;)

Ex - Phone service is satellite fed, you dolt! And the NSA doesn't monitor PS3's, PD Does! (http://i.imgur.com/LmjyBgx.gif)
ANYBODY knows that if you work for the NSA, you have to be a contractor to carry secrets around on your Laptops from China to Russia to Havana or to Ecuador.

The Playstation Network should be back on line by 7:00pm Eastern DST, 6:00 Central DST, 5:00 Mountain time and 4:00 Pacific DST ??? . All other time zones should adjust accordingly.
That is all.
