TuTu July 23 2013 - 90s Redonk Supercar Battle
« on: July 20, 2013, 08:57:14 AM »

Re·donk
/riˈdongk/
Adjective
Slang for ridiculous, which is what supercar design in the 90s was.

Car: Any from the list below

Setup: Oil Change. Paint/wheels, obviously.

Restrictions
PP: 555 540
Tires: Racing Hard (very fast wear)
Tuning: Prohibited
Lounge: TuTuTuna
Opening Track: "that Fuji one without the little chicaney section" then probably HSR

Complete List of Acceptable Road Cars:
Jaguar XJ220 '92
Cizeta V16T '94
McLaren F1 '94
Nissan R390 GT1 Road Car '98
TVR Cerbera Speed 12 '00 Too redonkulous

Note: Not sure it the Speed 12 can be reigned in enough. May have to adjust pp on the fly, we'll see.
Another note: If x car wasn't included "but should've been" - keep your pants on! There are other decades!

Opening track? ? Better be a big one.

And man that was harsh teasing us with three cars we cannot drive in the game the Bugatti EB110, Porsche 911 GT1 and the Dauer 962. What a drive tease man. Where is the Jiotto Caspiatta, MCA Centenaire or the Yamaha OX99-11.

Just bustin' your chops man    ;)

For an opening track maybe that Fuji one without the little chicaney section or maybe HSR might be good?

Yeah, the Ferrari F50, Toyota GT-One Road Car, Dodge Viper GTS-R/GT2, Lister Storm, Lotec C1000, Vector M12, Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR, Isdera Commendatore et al.... all great cars I wish we could've run! The Caspiatta and Centenaire too... (the OX99 was a concept... I don't count it). But yeah. I wish.

From I everything I have read or seen about the Vector I would not mind if PD passed in that one.

But like I said I was just giving you a hard time for showing us what we cannot have. You're being like the DJ/MC at a strip club. "And now coming to the center stage we have the 962" then you go out to the parking lot and get in your Geo Metro to head home.

The TVR is too redonkulous. Thus it won't work. As low as it goes is still 30 pp above two of the cars at max.

But to make things more competitive among those that are closer in power, PP has been OFFICIALLY LOWERED TO 540. That is all.

Thanks for some great racing at Fuji and HSR last night.
A lot of fun, and some real close racing.
Still as much fun as it was back in Prologue days.

Thanks everyone...

My internet shat itself as soon as I left the room. I think it was Bada that said someone sent a FR to TuTuTuna and I was going to accept it, but PSN wouldn't sign in and after 5 minutes I gave up. Woulda never got it anyway, internet wasn't back up till this morning. I'll be sure to accept that FR when I get a chance.

Saw your PM when I signed back on after 11 to finish some testing. You must have sent it right as I was signing off. Wish I would of caught it then some supercars at HSR sounds like it would have been fun.

Sorry I missed this too, I had intended to drop in with the old XJ220 and maybe do some donuts in the Cizeta, even logged in at a reasonable time for once but ended up stepping away from the console for a while and didn't really feel like racing by the time I got back.  Sounds like you guys had some gourd fun though :).
