TuTu February 25 2014 - The 4th of July Comes Early
« on: February 20, 2014, 04:49:33 PM »

This is just like Christmas in July. Except not.

Car: Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 '90

Stock. Wheels and paint allowed.

Restrictions
Tuning: Prohibited
Tires: Sports Soft
Lounge: Private Room - ADD ME AS A FRIEND BEFORE 7:00 PM TUESDAY
Track: Silverstone Grand Prix

I know this seems like a random car and a weird track pairing - but this thing is quick and super stable. It's a pretty fun combo. (It's been my go-to car for many of the offline events).

I picked one up over the weekend and took it for a drive at some of the Aspec evnets. You were right it is a great car right out of the box. I even used sport hard tires. :)

Tuneless Tuesday is not to be confused with Tuneless Critters

I'm still at work, but I would guess they are already rolling.

Thanks for the racin' tonite guys.

I know I made at least a couple boneheaded moves, so I apologize for that. I tried to stay as clean as possible. All of you were racin' so close, whenever I screwed up, I usually fell to the back before getting back on. ( nothing new to me  :laugh )

This car is nice, and relatively easy to drive. But I found it could be a bit tight off the throttle, and times quite loose if I wasn't really careful with the throttle on certain parts of the track. (DS3 controller)

I might've done better at a more familiar track. Who knows.

again, Thanks  8)

Another great night of close, fun racing. 3 wide racing is a blast, I hope I didn't run anyone of the track.
Thanks Stepper and Chrome.

Dave, good to see you out there. Don't worry about the bonehead moves, I said "sorry" at least 100 times tonight.  :-[

Stepper, what happened to you? Lot of fun racing tonight, thanks everybody.  :)

No worries Stepper, hope everything is ok?

Regarding your mic, that might actually be something GT6 related.  I've been noticing some mic problems myself, I'd put it down to maybe my mic being on it's way out as it seemed like it maybe wasn't getting it's Blueteeth properly hooked into the console or the mic wasn't picking up (I could hear people but they couldn't hear me, turning it off / on while in the room seemed to fix it) but maybe it's something to do with how PD does the whole voice thing?

Oh and regarding the evnet too it was awesome!  I've always enjoyed the car and Silverstone is really starting to grow on me now, the racing was glorious :).  Great door to door and nose to tail racing!
