You all might want to start conserving tires.  I have been running mid 49's and tires are just past half (barely) at lap 20.  I assumed a 20-30 lap pit window.

Maybe a twot instead of a wun?  Naw, heavy damage will lead to lots O yellows. Tire changes happen faster than fuel.

Well now...  Guess I really messed with you guys this time.  Yes, SPORTS MEDIUM TIRES.  They still have loads of grip, just make sure you use the brakes?  ???

oh found a interesting lag glitch the other night... a lag bump could ruin anyones race was testing some with tank earlier in the week going into turn 3 'pushing him' suddenly i had front end damage on both right and left with a blown engine.
LAG BUMPS SUCK ASS WITH FULL DAMAGE!! something to consider when in tight quarters or bump drafting. :(

I haven't had much time for practice and none at all with drafting so I was hoping someone could let me know a good top speed to go with.

not sure of exact speed for the draft  but if you stretch 3rd(all the way left on slider) and shorten 4th(all the way right on slider) as much as possible using 3rd in clean air and 4th in the draft you should have plenty of gear. didnt have a large draft pack to test with so not sure and draft isnt as important at indy as daytona only gonna gain 10-15mph most likly. :-\

It was with the wrong tires but I've seen 220mph in a weak two car draft.  Keep in mind that was from a about 1 sec back from the car in front of me on the front stretch which is sloped very slightly down hill. I'm just going to play it safe and keep a top speed in the 240s.
