Being I always need all the help I can get, I would like to change my driver to Jeff Gordon, being nobody has picked him.  4 time winner...you never know...That way, I can switch cars and drive his car...LOL

Is this ok?

Also, I am gonna practice for a bit...if anybody is up to it, let me know.

I am currently watching race day on speed, but I do not see the race listed anywhere here, so I don't think I'll actually be able to watch it  :'(

Oh well, I need the practice anyways  :-[

excellent racing by everyone that participated. ;D too bad brindle got discoed looked like he had a good car. :(
very few cautions (only 2). :)
think the cautions could be modified to 2 laps for a single car (3-4laps if following is implemented), 3-4laps for multi car wrecks and pit road closed from the time the caution starts till the tail end of first caution lap. maybe split field and pit top half then second half the following lap so there is a leader on track at all times and the field is regrouped prior to pitting. all wreck cars can pit immediately after yellow but have to fall to back prior to restart(no freebies for bringing out a caution). :( cautions felt like a free for all to me, where some thought they got their lap back and others didnt. ??? the replay from laps 40-45 was interesting to say the least... :-\
id be willing to do some shorter races on softer tires to iron out a less confusing yellow flag with pitstops. had fun enjoyed the race hope to run another in the not to distant future.
(feel free to give me shit for being critical its just my opinion).

I'm and work and don't have time to say much so I'll keep it short.

When is the next one?

That was awesome! I love these longer oval races. When is the next one?  :laugh

I'm looking forward to getting through the replay. I'm not sure why the cautions did not work as well as they did in the Undy. Lack of communication, car gaps were too great, cars were slower than undy cars, driver confusion??? I don't know.

Oh... I almost fogot to ask, When is the next one?

Can some of the 47 sec lap drivers give me their entry and corner speeds for the track?  Some small changes may be needed for the next race.

Also, we can use the TunaCup cautions if you all like.  Baked and I originally went with the current caution, for ease of explanation.  1 car 1 lap, 2 or more cars 3 laps.  My original cautions have a bit more detail, including the pits being closed till a certain time.  Only problem is, there is a lot of wording to it.

I was probably supposed to call CAUTION, but after only 2 laps I would have felt bad calling one so I kept my mouth shut and crashed again after 2 more laps, then again, then again...... Well you get the idea. I could manage a couple of laps in the 48's, but as the tires wore or if I was somehow in traffic my car would not turn.

I did have a good time. Sorry you got the Disco Ball Prize Brindle. I could have used that myself.

That was a lot of fun guys, I wouldn't mind trying one again.

I know for me I didn't hear the 1rd caution called, mainly because part of the deal with me getting time to race on a Sunday afternoon was for me and the boys clean the room. When I went to start I didn't have a wheel at all and after I fixed that I didn't have any sound so I only had TV sound and too low at that. Anyway I didn't hear it and when I figured it out I'm sorry to say I was very confused but I think I was running near the front at the time.

I do like cautions as a whole, especially when running distance races.

Moral of the story was I had a great time and I also should never be allowed to clean the Man-cave

I didn't hear the first one either, then I almost took out Grill from behind...then hit the wall and went streight into the pit...that lost me the lap count...and I was in the lead, and I think Grill was in second...LOL...so that was prolly the bigest screw-up...my appoligies...I'll try to do better next time. :laugh...
