Wow that's a lot of great tracks there!  A simple "yes I've just downloaded a crapton of tracks" would have sufficed but thankyou for the full list.. ZOMG that really is a crapton of tracks! 

Crapton being the imperial measurement, it is roughly equal to 10 metric Shitloads.  Not to be confused with a Metric Crapton which is about equal to 12 7/8rd shitloads .

You dont need a GMail account to access the files listed on the GoogleDrive. When the owner of the file sets the permission for the file, all he has to do is select 'anyone with a  link'.  Send that link in an email to those that need access, and voila .... all set.

I make DVD/PC Slideshows on the side .... this is how I share them with customers.

This file contains about half of that list.

The other half will be uploaded in the next day or two, which means I have to take this one down.  Get it while it's hot!

Then, I have a 3rd file, which at this point I'm still adding to, that will contain some more tracks, a bunch of skins and probably some full game mods too.

.. I skimmed through Agent's posts first thing this morning and PM'd Wizard my email address, then after taking in some coffee I reread everything and realised Google was just prompting me to "log in" to access the file!  So I log in (some kind of Google / Youtube linked ID thing) and there's the file  .

Thanks Ballsac!  Right now I've stumbled at the 1rd hurdle though, stupid Valve / Steam doesn't is having problems initializing / updating (my) transactions this morning so I can't even buy the damn game yet LOL, probably doing maintenance or something as I'm instructed to try again later

Oooh, oooh, I got my Steam problem figured out and have started downloading the game now.  Ended up getting Race 07 as well as the Race On, STCC 1 and Retro packs which are installing now.  Fortunately while I was figuring out Steam I did manage to download WizPack 1 from the google docs link so I should be swamped with content by the end of the day .

Now to figure out how to install the mods / custom content tracks and stuff and then how to make some custom skins!  Speaking of them does anyone know how they work, I mean if I make say an STGT Touring Car skin will anyone I race online with be able to see it or is it like iRacing where everyone needs to have a copy of the skin to see it in a race?

They're still around and rumored to be working on GTR3.

They just released a demo for "Raceroom Racing Experience"  I downloaded it but haven't tried it yet.

As for the console part, you may be thinking of pCARS.  I think I read somewhere that some of the Simbin guys broke off and joined the guys that are making pCARS.

They did also release an XBox game called "Race Pro" back in early 2009 that looks like it's basically an updated console version of Race 07, didn't find anything for PS3 though which is a shame.

Also I just noticed this on Steam.. Andy Priaulx Crowne Plaza Raceway (Free DLC) .. no clue if it's a good track or not but from the few pictures I saw it does look interest, and above all else it's free so I got it .

So you guys that are playing. Are there many people online playing ever? I remember that is why I stopped because it gets old driving around by myself. Maybe it was that way because I didnt have any mods installed?
