It was a more dangerous time in the world of motorsports.  Drivers faced the risk of death on an almost weekly basis.  Back when men were men and there was no such thing as "being PC".  It was a time when most race cars were a thing of beauty as well...

Let's take a time machine back to the 1960s and run an enduro at Le Mans with classic race cars.  Vehicle entrant list:

Jaguar XJ13
Ferrari 330 P4
Ford Mark IV
Ford GT40
Chaparral 2D
Chevrolet Corvette C2 Z06

Track - Circuit de la Sarthe 2005 (no chicanes)
Laps - 35 (one tenth the winning total lap count for 2011)
Driving Aids allowed:  ABS
Modifications allowed:  None
Tires:  Race Medium only

Given that the time & day are right (which for me is not an easy thing to accomplish) I would be on that XJ13 like a crack bunny on... well, crack.

Not sure what car I'd want to use. I'm not particularly good at driving any of them, but I like them all.
