I used all the different Ferraris in my garage to run the latest seasonals but I really enjoyed the Enzo most,I had never really tried to "dial" the car in til today and it's not too bad at all.....

Beauty in things exists merely in the mind which contemplates them.

 :stoopid:

I'm not much for post production editting. I don't have a good photo program at home, but have Photoshop CS5 at work. With the amount of pics I like to take, I wouldn't get any work done, if I started "souping up" my pics.  :laugh
I like 'em straight out of the game for the most part.

I'm much the same way. I have PS CS5 at home and despite that all I do to mine for the most part are USM, resize and USM again. There are some rare occasions where I get a bug in my ass and have to so something different like thses

but those are few and far between.

Very nice Stepper, and I know what you mean.. I was looking through my gallery of pictures the other night and was like "ooh, ooh, oh oh", I keep seeing ones that would make really neat triptychs or pairs of framed images like that, so many choices I just don't know where to start :).

All those shots look great guys. That black Enzo looks nice. Great first run at the three picture thing Stepper.

Also, a question about the images where two cars are posed at the same location. I can handle the editing part I think, but what I can't quite figure out is, how do you know where to set up the camera?

Best thing is try to find some landmarks to line up with, and note all your camera settings. It's pretty easy really.

This one is a little off, but not too bad.

Could you explain how you do that with the multiple cars Chrome?

Could you explain how you do that with the multiple cars Chrome?

When you're setting up each car, try to imagine where the other(s) are going to be. Put your camera as close to the same place as possible when shooting each car. Once you get all the shots, take them to the photo editting program of your choosing. In my pic up there. I started with the pic that only had the orange car. "Cut" the pink and green ones out of their pics, and put them on the orange car's pic.

The main things to remember is...
Kept your camera in the same spot with the same setting for all the cars to be "grouped".
Allow enough room for each car. <----trickiest part

Mine got a little crowded, so I moved the pink car. It's off a little from where it should be, look at the bike in the window. The green car is spot on though. And it's the orange car's pic, so it has to be right.

I my self when doing shots of multiple cars in the same location have a similar approach to the location that Chrome layed out, find some landmarks to line up with, and note all your camera settings and whatnot. where mine varies is I use Photoshop CS5 and clone the car over, I find that to leave much cleaner transition than the cut and paste method. That said it does not leave any give as far as moving a car like chrome explained. When something like that happens to me I think about how bad I want to do the picture and if I want it bad enough I'll go back and re shoot, but that is something that is kind of instilled into me by default. A good example of this is that picture I have of the GTR's, When I get home from work I'll dig up the original photos...the re shoot will be clear as day lol.

Got some disposable income on my other ID, so blew some credits on a Tesla.

Extremely close finish in the La Sarthe Seasonal. .033  :o

I was in the 458, stock HP, only mods are race suspension and R3 tires.

All the talk about multi-car photos made me want to do another. This one is near flawless.

Base pics...

I just don't see how you knew where to line the camera up for those mustang shots. Looks great though.

Actually, that's the easy part. For this one I chose the #1 camera location. Then I raised the camera up as far as it would go, then put the "bullseye" on a particular spot, and noted said spot. Also noted cam settings, focal length, F number, and shutter speed. Just make sure all base pics use the same settings, and you can't go wrong on that part. Getting the cars positioned correctly is the thing. I shot the late model Mustang twice, as I didn't think the first shot was going to work. The 2th shot was the good one.

My first run at this. This is my favorite car so far, so it's a tribute of sorts.
