Speaking of flags... when did England change theirs? I always thought the Union Jack was the flag of Great Britain. Now I see they're using a red cross on a white background.


...a couple of minutes later... Ah, I see. There is a difference between England and the United Kingdom. The UK uses the Union Jack.

I was told by a gentleman from over there that the red cross flag is the flag of England, the union jack is the flag of the United Kingdom (consisting of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland)

Interestingly, the flag of Montreal looks very much like the England flag with the addition of an English rose, Scottish thistle, Irish shamrock and fleur-de-lis.

This is right, the Union Jack itself is made up of the 3 flags of England, Northern Ireland and Scotland though for some reason Wales never had it's flag depicted even though it's part of the United Kingdom.

Scotland - Cross of Saint Andrew


Northern Ireland - Cross of Saint Patrick


England - Saint George's Cross

Once you learn how to drive it the Ferrari BB 512 is a sweet piece to win with,so "old school" compared to the Italia or Enzo!

Here's a few shots from my very first Sucka Free Sunday!  Sadly I didn't save any replays from actual races, was struggling to get a handle on my 'Cuda til near the end though and I think with a touch more practice I'd have it down (mostly just poor driving on my part), but I did grab some from the drag racing we did at Fuji.. definitely a fun day!











.. I really ought to slow down on my photo taking one of these days :).
