Lounge:  HostTuna
Lounge PP Limit:  Vettes = 540PP / Vipers = 545PP (room set to 545PP)
Car Setup: Limited spec setup.  See below!
Tires:  Sports Soft
Wear:  Fast
Grid:  Reverse grid based on previous results
Start Times:  Auto clock set to 5 mins
Lap Count: 6


Wrinkles:  Race clean, race hard, have fun!

Required Parts
Vettes = 540PP / Vipers = 545PP
Any power upgrades to make PP EXCEPT superchargers
NO weight reductions, cars must be stock weight!  (if you have a low fat car but can make stock weight that's ok so long as ballast is at 0)
Close Ratio 6-speed Transmission
Fixed Sports Suspension

NOTES:  The idea for this event is partly something I'd been thinking about before and also because of a recent MotorTrend article regarding the new SRT Viper TA setting a new lap record at Laguna Seca and some Vette / Viper rivalry I stumbled on at the PSN forum.

Concept is partially stock vehicles with a selection of upgrades, I've tested all 4 cars at Laguna Seca and they all handle / perform very well and are pretty even at these specs :).

You're killing me with this one Feldynn.  A rare basketball game that I want to watch is on Thursday night and my wrists are simply not up to it (MRI scheduled for Wednesday morning), but this is a dream matchup and I couldn't have been more wrong about which car(s) were the best.  If I get a chance, I might stop by and watch.

Doh, hope your wrists feel better Rick!  I'm sure we can find another excuse to run these cars again another day (maybe a mini endurance race / series or something).
