Finally, after many, many tries... I got bronze on that Z4 at Imola Special Evnet.

There's tons of new challenges that I didn't even know existed.  Time to get to work.  :)

I love this game!

Nice.  I found it quite shocking how difficult the Golds are on this game so far... GT has us spoiled!  I'd have to go check to see if I've gotten any better than bronze on any of them.

I just found out that some of the events that give you the "numbers" for goals aren't drift trials.  I thought they all were, so I've avoided them up to this point.

If the gold number is under 10,000 it's likely a time attack challenge.  And they're pretty darn fun.

If the top goal is 100,000 it's a drift trial.  For shits and giggles, I tried a drift trial.  Gold is 100,000.  I got 422.

I doubt it.

You're faster than you give yourself credit for.  I still remember trying to catch you way back when in the first GT300 series at Nordschleife.  Hell of a race/series that was.

MoTeC plugin.  Finally.

http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php?threads/acti-ac-telemetry-interface-tool-motec-output.10198/

Haven't tried it yet.  I'll give it a go over the weekend hopefully.  From what I understand it's somewhat limited due to Kunos not having all the data channels available yet.

ooh, I forgot I had a question after doing some AC'ing last night

I have cars giving too much steering input into the game when I have it set to 900deg for some reason.

What setting/value would help make my DFGT result in a 1:1 real/virtual wheel movement?

My first guess would be to re-calibrate your wheel.  Perhaps one of the updates borked your calibration.

Try that first then we'll go from there if it doesn't work.

With the logitech profiler, thingy?  I haven't been turning that on.  I wonder if this game really requires it?  That could be my problem right there...

I thought the profiler was necessary for Logitec on PC?

Yes.

You should always have your profiler on while running PC sims.

I've never plugged any of my Logitech wheels into a PC so this is strictly a guess... but I'd bet that as soon as you plug it in and turn it on, the profiler launches itself.

In other words, Ex is probably using the profiler without knowing it.

Ex....  If you have some time, give this thread a good read - http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php?threads/logitech-wheels-official-thread.3295/  There's a shitload of good info scattered throughout the thread.

Thanks I will read it.

Regarding the profiler... I am an app nazi, who doesn't let things I'm not using continue to run in the background even with a new more powerful PC.  So, I have a little shortcut for the profiler next to my game icons... Need to remember to open it when I'm about to launch the game.
