Then you are going to be disappointed in my cars in 6 as the biggest change I will likely make is the choice of a different color than the current fleet from the BakedTuna Scuderia.

I'm with Baked, a livery editor is something I've never been interested in.  Most of the time I don't even know what color I'm in and while I liked Cip's car in the Euro Trip races, most of the time I don't remember after the race what any of you were driving or what color it was.

My biggest concern is them "pushing the limits of the PS3." I don't take this as good news.  I can see system crashes galore.

The real question is...   WILL IT HAVE AMERICAN TORQ THRUSTS?!?!?!?!?

Those are Cragars if you are older.

Edit those are Cragars if you are younger too you just don't know it.

This is what my state was before watching the video

Satisfied.
Now post video
I saw a X-bow, Dino,  an original Quattro rally car and a LCC Rocket. HOLY FUCKING SHIT, I AM EXCITED. If you are not yet watch the video Chrome posted. If thats not enough check your pulse.

Edit if those cars are an indicator PD is going to cater to the entusiast drivers and not just putting more cars in without much focus.

GT6 to use adaptive tessalation

Not 100% sure what this is but I'm sure it's good news.

Adaptive tessalation is just a graphic chip way of smoothing objects, rather than wasting the CPU's valuable time.

From their website: http://www.gran-turismo.com/us/news/00_1910783.html

Cars featured on the GT6 Silverstone demo (* denotes new to Gran Turismo):
Acura NSX ’91
*Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale ’11
*Alpine A110 1600S ’68
*Audi Sport quattro S1 Rally Car ’86
Ferrari 458 Italia ’09
*Ferrari Dino 246 GT ’71
Ford GT ’06
*KTM X-BOW R ’12
Lamborghini Countach LP400 ’74
*Light Car Company Rocket ’07
McLaren MP4-12C ’10
*Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 ’11
Nissan 370Z (Z34) (GT Academy Version) ’08
Nissan 370Z Tuned Car (GT Academy Version) ’08
Nissan GT-R Black edition (GT Academy Version) ’12
*Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 N24 Schulze Motorsport
Nissan Leaf G (GT Academy Version)
*Tesla Motors Model S Signature Performance ’12
Toyota 86 GT ‘12

And the Alpine is a new to GT one, my first thought was "hey we've got an Alpine 1600S already!" to which my quick check revealed that we have the 1973 Alpine 1600S and the one in the demo (and on that list) is the 1968 version of the same car..

:facepalm

.. I hope that isn't an indication of how they're going to make the majority of the extra "new to GT" cars.

Also for a quick example of the new rear wings and new wheels watch that video Chrome posted on Page 5, around 12:20 to 13:15 shows two screen images with a small example of the selection of wings and wheels they're planning.  Even from that small selection of wings it looks like there should be some less "obnoxious" choices than what we're stuck with right now which is great news, same goes for wheels too.

If there is anyone from PE reading this NO MORE Nissans. There are too many other cars that deserve our attention more than anything you can bring us from Nissan. We have plenty of examples already available to us.

Jordan just post this gameplay video.

Gran Turismo 6 Gameplay Video: KTM X-Bow R at Silverstone International Circuit

I had to laugh when I seen SFR in the options menu, and it's on.

I'd add one caveat to that, and I think it might possibly be one you'd be ok with Baked :)

No more Nissans "unless they're part of a class group".

I only say it like that becaues I just noticed that although we appear to be getting yet another Nismo Schulze GT-R it's the GT3 car AND we're also getting the SLS AMG GT3 car.. so if if the odd extra Nissan comes as part of a race car class group like that then it might be tolerable :).

I just thought to myself over here...

How Awesome would Gran Turismo ___ be if all Nissans were substituted with Porsches.

Future tracks and cars will become available in DLC.  Hmmmm, where have I heard that before.  Here have another Nissan. ::)

While I'm excited that we are gonna get a new GT, I have this sick feeling in my gut that it's just a polished GT5 with some new bells and whistles.  I hope I'm wrong.

ASSIST:

Driving Line   (was on, but I saw no line)
Active Steering
Traction Control
ABS
Skid Recovery Force  (Chrome is correct this was on and it still looked a bit slick on sport hard tires)

DRIVING PHYSICS:

It probably is what 5 for the PS3 should have been. The code is optimized for it's cell processors and over all game play should be more cohesive.

I will be happy if we have left the RPG aspects behind and I will be pissed if it turns in to a grind for money to buy shit thing agin. Other than that, I am really looking forward to this.

Yep! just a polished GT5 as far as I can tell so far.  :-\ Not impressed one bit.  Like has already been said. I will purchase only because its GT. And that will be the PS4 version. Wow! look! Leaves. That's new. And the screen comparisons are different sky conditions. More clouds on the 5 shots with less clouds and brighter screen with the GT6 ones. Just haven't seen anything to make me go this is going to be great! :-\ I must be missing something.
