Mind you I still like the old GT2 / GT4 map style of interface too so that's probably why I don't care for this fancy new modern crap, it could be worse though and it is only a UI after all so I'll probably be able to tolerate it.

I really liked just about everything about GT4. They could just update that same format to today's standards, and I'd be cool with it, not to mention the buttload of tracks that game had, and better dirt/snow physics. Now I'm rambling.

Some songs just get ingrained in your memory no matter how much you wish they didn't .  I seem to remember seeing / hearing it a lot whenever I went out or turned on the radio while it was "popular", that's probably why I remembered it because I've tried to forget a lot of the 90s .

From drum machines to smoke machines, found this on GTP and thought it was worth posting here..

Edit:  Oh, and I did some smoke tests - there was no pixelation.  :tup:

I think that's what we're going to see most of with the new engine, not so much a huge leap in overall quality but a lot of subtle improvements like with the smoke and hopefully shadows too among other things.
