Thanks I will read it.

Regarding the profiler... I am an app nazi, who doesn't let things I'm not using continue to run in the background even with a new more powerful PC.  So, I have a little shortcut for the profiler next to my game icons... Need to remember to open it when I'm about to launch the game.

I'm the same way.

Definitely make sure you launch the profiler first, before launching the game.

I'm guessing that was the problem.  But if it isn't, let me know and we'll explore further.

Here's another thread with some info about wheels and wheel setups.

It's a RaceDepartment link.  Not sure if you have to be a member to view it.

MoTeC plugin.  Finally.

http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php?threads/acti-ac-telemetry-interface-tool-motec-output.10198/

Haven't tried it yet.  I'll give it a go over the weekend hopefully.  From what I understand it's somewhat limited due to Kunos not having all the data channels available yet.

Finally,  I've never made more than a half hearted attempt to learn these programs since AC was using AIM or something, iRacing was using Atlas while rFactor games usually had MoTeC plugins.  Now all these games have MoTeC plugins.  I wanted to learn telemetry through AC but didn't really want to spend the time learning aim.

As an aside, maybe the Doctor's office should be changed to the Wizards tower.  It's going to be a while before I can put significant seat time in.

Finally, after many, many tries... I got bronze on that Z4 at Imola Special Evnet.

There's tons of new challenges that I didn't even know existed.  Time to get to work.  :)

I love this game!

somethings wrong there.

I doubt it.

You're faster than you give yourself credit for.  I still remember trying to catch you way back when in the first GT300 series at Nordschleife.  Hell of a race/series that was.

That series and in particular that race is the highlight of my sim racing career.  It is the race that I'll be telling my grand kids about.  The day that everything clicked.  I just don't get the seat time to be that quick these days.

I'm not positive but I think I still have the replay for that race on my old fatty.  I really should take the time to see if it's there, record it, and put it up on youtube.

I checked my GT5 replays and found a few of those races including Nurburgring.  I watched the first lap.  Brings back good memories.

GT Academy put me way behind on adding some new/updated tracks to the downloads area.  There's quite a bit of new stuff to add.

I also plan to start putting the good/useful apps in there as well.

Expect a big update soon. :)

The first wave of car modding tools have been released.

Shouldn't be too long before we start seeing some new cars in game. :)

Nice!

Quite impressive with the skyline and everything

Is that AI driving most of the cars and do you know if track creators need to define things in the track for the AI or whether they just sort of know what to do on these new tracks?
