Just found this track last night.  Instant favorite!

Here's my 2nd attempt in the KTM Xbow...

Are there any plans for different HUD's while driving, or do I have to mod it myself?

There's dozens of different huds floating around.

Have you not checked out the official forums yet?   There's a shitload of apps there that I'm quite confident you would find useful.

Some stuff off the top of my head....

Huds (huds for tablets too)
voice spotter
voice info (lap times, fuel left, things like that)
timing info like you wouldn't believe
head motion/head tracking
telemetry
tire temp/brake temp apps
all kinds of other shit

Pretty much all the cool stuff we had for Race 07, but more of it, better and more customizable.

Oh and check the first post of this thread, you may find some useful shit there as well.  :)

I wish I had more time to upload shit right now (I have a boatload more tracks, a few cars and a bunch of apps), but life is still pretty crazy.

Wife should be out of the hospital today or tomorrow so things will settle down soon and I can get back to business.

This is probably one of the better HUD apps around right now - http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php?threads/rivali-ov1-info-app-v3-1-new.3219/

Some screens...

It's good to know your wife is coming home, take things easy though, look after her first.

I cant even find the time to get some of the D/L done, but must find time to get some of those great tracks.

A big thanks for keeping this novice up to date with what can be done on the PC... mind blowing, after only racing GT on PS3.

Thanks, but I already have all those Wiz.  I don't like the colors, so am going to continue modding the looks to fit my taste.  Remember RF2?   ;)

Pretty much the way to go then yeah.

When I had that app installed I changed some colors around myself.  In fact, I removed the colors all together so it was just white letters/numbers on my screen.  I liked that best.  Changed some font sizes too.

It's fairly easy to mess around with most of these apps to get them to our liking.  I just wish I knew some Python so I could start making my own apps.

Shouldn't be an issue. My old HDTV is dvi only. Worked fine with an adaptor.

Your monitor may have to be hdcp compliant

Are those apps able to run on your tablet using shared memory whatever? Or is it those ones you click open on the side tool bar? I hate any clutter on my screen while driving.

Also have you read anything about when they will implement button mapping?

There are both styles.

There are some HUD apps for tablets, which will allow you to remove most things from your main screen.

Then there are other apps that will not work on tablets.

Depends on what you want and/or find necessary.

Button mapping is already somewhat implemented.

The only thing that isn't mappable yet for some reason is directional pads.

I can map all of the other buttons on my wheel (and there are 10 of them)  and I can also map to my DSD button box.
