I would have to check again but I thought I read that the following was  confirmed for PS4 support

•Thrustmaster T80
•Thrustmaster T300RS
•Thurstmaster T500

But I have been wrong many times in the past

Either way I don't see myself even plugging into the PS4 anyhow. I am only going to play my shooters on it.

I built my PC back in 06, it would run it (AC), but not the way I would want. I just purchased a bunch of Fanatec stuff so there is no PS4 in the near future. I took a quick look yesterday and if I was to build a PC today I'm @ around $1,200.

I really liked the simplicity of a console, no hours and hours of firmware updates, driver updates, system optimisations, problems because of some simple setting somewhere. Oh well, I guess I will see if I get a tax refund this year and go from there.

I guess I should also ask about the hackers in AC? I just remember the old PC days and getting fed up with with wallhax, aimbots and other assorted bull shit.

Well there is modding for the game, meaning you can hack a car to have just about anything.  However...  There are server checksums that compare the car/track on the server to all clients wanting to connect.  If you don't match the server's content (your car is modded/hacked), you CAN'T get in the room.

That's good.

You mention wonderful FFB feel and that is what a lot of people are saying.

There's an awesome thread about setting up proper FFB.  It uses an Iracing program for wheel linearity and an app for setting "game main menu" FFB to eliminate FFB spikes and clipping.

no hours and hours of firmware updates, driver updates, system optimisations

This type of stuff is a lot easier than it used to be.   For example, I can update my graphics drivers in two clicks and it usually only takes about 3 minutes.

problems because of some simple setting somewhere.

I'll give ya this one though.  Sometimes this can be frustrating as fuck.  But usually between me and Brindle we can figure it out pretty quick.

There was some chatter a while back but I don't see it happening.  At least not any time soon.

That's the one.

I'm glad you still have them, because I think mine are lost.
