Wow!!!!

That's all I can say for last night.  Stomach hurts this morning from laughing so hard.  Even with just the 3 of us, it was a blast.  I think we all pitted, oh say, 10 - 15 times.  Best we could manage was 2 clean laps I believe, then some one would hit something.

Hope to see more next week, but I'm still game with the same 3 people.  :)

I should've put dirt tires on my little Clio, I swear I spent more time running on the sides off the track than I did on the tarmac part  :laugh.  It was definitely a lot of fun though, especially trying to guess which one of us would be the first get damaged each go around ;D.

Excellent track last night. Though even after 19 laps I was still making the same mistake in the same corners.

Good Times

Thanks for the race last week. I wouldn't normally race on a week night, but I felt the need. It was a fun run, even though Feldynn stole my pole...

I didn't mention it last week, as I didn't want to mess with a schedule that was already in place, but 9pm might help me attend. I'll try anyway. Picking the right time slot to encourage people to play with you can be a challenge.

Wow...what a race. Light damage was a brilliant move. Helps keep the flow of the race going, without having damage kill individual drivers, but keeps some kind of penalty for real mistakes. The cool thing about these tracks though is that everyone can make lots of mistakes.

Fried, Baked, Feldynn, GTallstar and I raced last night, and we all had numerous off track adventures, along with some other wild mistakes. There we 2-4 drivers together throughout the race. Bumper to bumper, door to door...wild fun. Everything kind of evened out at the end, and the four leaders were close together on the last lap. I was lucky and managed to hold the lead on the final straight, with 3 cars less than 1/10 of a second behind me.

Definitely one of the funnest races I've been in. Thanks again guys.

What a great time thanks to those that came out. There were times we had 3 or 4 cars close enough to throw a table cloth over and it would had covered them. Turbo congrats on the win and second goes to Fried despite us showing the exact same time at the checkers. The race director made the call saying that Fried appeared in 2nd on a majority of the results screens. I made an appeal based on simple A B C's. Baked starts with b which comes before f that Fried begins with. The appeal was thrown out without ever being heard. So congrats Fried but I am putting it in the record books with an asterisk. LOL.

hey baked,

Is tuna-ing up and then de-tuna-ing allowed?  If people don't do this than I wouldn't want to either, but i also wouldn't want to be the only one NOT doing it.  I may try to come out tomorrow to get some clio action.  It's easily my favorite cup car and I've never done an organized race with her.
