I pass a car very similar to this every day, in the same general area, to and from work. I never "tire" (ha ha) of seeing it. :drool
I hope I remember and join in for a few.

I will be around this Tuesday night and hope to make it to TuTu too. I should pick up a Charger too. ;D

Watch .... half the field will show up in the Challenger TC ...... (http://i.imgur.com/LmjyBgx.gif)

Mine must've shrunk when I washed it at GT Auto. It says it's an SRT4 now...
But I have a Challenger R/T, evidently the S and the 8 ran off to Detroit and eloped...
Hey Kaz, can we haz the new DART please? I like the commercial...
:hhjj

Yeah, there is something about a honeymoon in Germany (http://blog.onecarspot.com/audi-s8-full-size-performance-sedan/)

Disco Stu decided to show his ugly mug in my rear view
and I wouldn't have had time for another race, so I called it a night. It was fun, thanks everybody..
-
Damn, I missed a good one with the Challenger ...... :(
Hope you guys had fun! :D

Had a fucking blast with some excellent last lap fireworks resulting in some narrow ass margins. 0:00.002 kind of narrow (http://i.imgur.com/LmjyBgx.gif)

Thanks for the races, I'll try to come more often... I have much less time for GT5 with a baby around...
You guys are faster than me, even when I choose the track ::) I need practice...
See you everyone on the track soon !

thanks for the invite last night, but I wasn't able to be on long... just long enough to DL the update and do a few laps to find out they borked the game even moer than before...

I had a blast too! I accidentally made a "last lap pass" on Stepper coming down the back straight toward the Bus Stop and as a result won the race, I say it was an accident because I had no idea we were on the last lap and given the location it could have seemed like one of those last lap risky passes which wasn't what I'd intended LOL.
Also that 3st place finish was awesome Ronin! A few knocks and dings all race long and it sure did come down the the wire, that's going to make for a great picture shot :). And watching Grill trying to "thread the hippo" (let's face it, that car just isn't a needle :)) between either Cip or Stepper and Ronin to almost go 3 wide into turn one was hilarious to watch from just behind where I was, at first there was a good sized hole but the closer Grill got the smaller the hole became.
Great stuff guys!

I just watched some replays (great racing everyone), it showed I had SS tires on, so I checked my car in the garage and I have RH tires ??? Can someone check their replay and see if they get the same result.
-
how do you see that, by just looking at the tread?
and does anyone know of a way to tell teh difference in a replay between racing compounds? Visually or otherwise?
-
Isnt that in the timing monitor of the replay?

I think so, or Select the car and the data about tires and fuel should appear on the left side of the screen, kind of like B-spec or 'Watch Race'.

I'm fairly sure in the replays there's info on the hud somewhere that says what tires the currently viewed car is running, I want to say it's up in the top left quadrant but I'm working from memory so I may be wrong on the location.
Also I think visually there is a different between Sports and Racing tires too, from the right angle Racing tires are smooth like slicks should be where as Sports tires should show some obvious tread. It's easier to see on Premium cars since you can zoom in more but I'm pretty sure it's there (Comfort and Sports I think may look the same though, but I'm not sure).
-
that's all good to know. thanks. I ask mostly because I've been in a couple races in the past couple months where I've seen some suspicous stuff (non-tuna related racing) like someone staying out way longer than should have been possible on the tire they should have been using...
