Taken from the PSN (Thanks MGT for the link (http://community.us.playstation.com/t5/PlayStation-Network-Support/FYI-PSN-Maintenance-Scheduled-for-Thursday-January-17th/m-p/39303767)!)..

Quote
In order to continue bringing you the best online games experience on PSN, we will perform routine maintenance beginning the morning of Thursday, January 17th. This maintenance will start at approximately 8:00AM PT (9:00AM MT / 10:00AM CT / 11:00 AM ET) and last until around 8:00PM PT (9:00PM MT / 10:00PM CT / 11:00PM ET). During the maintenance period, you may receive a maintenance notification when attempting to access PSN.

The PlayStation Store and Account Management will not be available during the maintenance period, but you will be able to access online play and apps provided that you have signed into PlayStation Network at some point between now and the time of the maintenance. So please be sure to sign in now if you wish to access the Network during Thursday’s maintenance window.

Not sure how much this is going to affect our evnet on Thursday, according to their message though I'd encourage anyone who is planning to attend to log in at least on Wednesday in an effort to minimise possible connection issues.  On the offchance it does cause massive havoc we can rerun the same thing (or something similar) again for next week.

We should plan on this anyway.

After the massive PP fiasco I took some time this afternoon to check on the S2000s for tomorrow's race.  There has been a minor PP adjustment (down by 2 to 518PP, which is the max for a zero mile premium S2000 with a wing at default downforce), I also found the Mugen S2000 and added it to the list though it comes up short in the PP department due to having no available rear wing / downforce but it should have the power to make up for it on the straight bits.

On a side note, because of the PP changes you WILL have to do engine stages and weight reductions to the cars to make the numbers, the cars I set up are all low or no mileage with oil changes and most now just make the limit.

Signed in early this morning.  Was booted when I returned.  Getting error.  Tonight may be a wash.  If so, look for an evnet in honor of UCan/Gary on Sunday after the fisherhat race.  Probably begin late afternoon/early evening.  I will host in OPEN if people would like that.

I remember you talking about this last night ... that PSN will boot you off.  Maybe you have some 'time out' enabled on your router?, or ......  well, I dont know ..... LOL

When I left the "Like the Wind" event last night @ Route X (10:30pm est), all I did was shut the TV off.

Just checked, and I am still logged into the network and sitting at GTLife

That's how I looked too --  until I went to do an online function.  Then I got booted.

My other console was remote B-specing and still seems networked.

OK, just went and checked ... (before I was sitting at GTLife and didnt try anything) ... can do seasonal's, online garage, and MyLounge.

Theres only 5 people on line in my FR list .... 2 of them are non Tunas/GT5r's.

Looks like a night to possibly break open Assasins Creed III that I've had since Xmas.

I managed to log in without too much difficulty, however once I'm in game trying to do anything that has the slightest bit of internet connectivity required (loading Community list, etc) it gets as slow as mole asses.  I assume that's the PSN's quality gaming experience that won't be interrupted by the maintenance if we logged in within the last day or two.. hopefully it'll clear up presently.

I haven't logged in for a while so I won't bother trying tonight. I wish this would have gone smoother. I hope to be able to come out Sunday. Thanks for moving this.  :)

Thanks to those that did get lucky with the PSN maintenance and were able to drop in, once I saw how slow GT5 was running for me I didn't really expect to see many people get through but those that did had some goos times in those tuner S2000s :).
