Car: Ferrari 288 GTO

Setup: Stock. Paint/Wheels optional (although you probably won't get too far without them ;))

Tires: Racing Hard
Lounge: Public lounge. Will post # here when I have it
Track: Monza 80s

Yeah, it's more expensive than I thought. Oh well - at least it's badass.

Do the RedBull Vettel challenge. Trial Mountain, use Racing soft tires. It pays $248,000.00 for 3 minutes of driving.

not to mention the SEnna content if that has not been golded, with 200% gives you several million.

True, but I believe you can only collect the winnings one time.

was gonna come out after practicing for CiaY but we lost power and practice was cut short. Power came back quick but wife's ps3 would not fire up so I had to get it going again. Now I am done for night. Hope it was fun. Love the looks of the real GTO's.

  Soks

Sorry everyone... didn't realize that car was such a handful. Squirrely as all hell under braking - couldn't keep it pointed forward the first race. Kinda got used to it during my second race.

We had a MASSIVE electrical storm come through right as I fired it up, apologies to everyone who had issues getting into the room... I backed out and my internet crapped out. Hope you were able to race. Straight lightning for over two hours. Cray cray.

Next week will be something that I imagine will be a bit tamer... but still fast. We'll see.

Thanks for your patience!

This is the first car I've run across, where I liked it better on Sports tires. Ran the first couple practice laps on the stock SH tires, and while it was loose, it was still driveable. Then I found out we were supposed to be on RH, and holy crap. This thing became a major handful. I wound up running most of the night with SS front, RH rear, and that helped. Still was able to run with the non-staggered drivers, but was a little slower in the high speed turns. Regardless, good times were had.

Thanks stepper, and everybody that came out.  :)

Thanks guys, hope I didn't mess up in front of too many of you.

Some wild rides, but good fun.
Ended up with brakes at 2/5, managed to keep the car reasonably straight by the end of the night.

Only Chevy left in the room, he was not at his rig but I could here chatter in the background, so I changed the timer to 60 minutes.
