Yep, We're going to give it another go.
Presenting on Wednesday, April 11rd: Undy Briefs presented by Joe Boxer
Starting at 8:30pm Eastern every one is welcome to come on out and try the fit and finish of an FGT at Indy Superspeedway. Crowd willing, we'll be running at least 2 50 lappers at Indy with the FGT using Baked's Undy rules, more or less. (see below) So now's your chance, whether your a veteran of the Undy and want to readjust to the snug supportive fit of an FGT or if your just curious and want to see if the Undy is right for you. What better chance to do so than to try out Undy Briefs presented by Joe Boxer?

I WILL be there.
-
I'll try to drop in, at least for the second one. I won't know until the kids go to bed that night.
-
I'll be there with bells or should I say briefs on.

I tried some laps yesterday and was consistently running 43.2xx. Managed a few 42:9xx`s. Anyone else turning some laps? It`s hard to keep an eye on other cars when you can`t see the mirrors in the cockpit view, never thought to try the bumper cam. I did a short 15 lapper with Ronin and it was fun though a bit nervous when going 2 wide around corners.
I`m looking forward to the practice on Wednesday as well as the main event.

Oh! just you wait then. :laugh And I will do my best to make it out tomorrow. I really like this evnet.

I'm looking forward to this and the big race. :D So far my car has been very stable running two wide, but that is only using the Indy 500 enduro as a test session. Solo runs in my lounge produce 42.8s and 42.7s. If you have not yet, it may be worth testing all 3 race tire compounds or playing around with aero settings. I'm under the impression that this car is very aero sensitive.
-
After my run with LL I was able to crank out some 43.0's but I was not delving into time testing I was working on Tire thoughts and shit.
-
What was kind of strange was I went into my lounge and ran laps consistently in the high 42:9`s. Then I started a 15 lap race by myself and couldn't get it under 43 again.
I tried softs and hards and didn't notice much difference in the times. I just thought that hards would last longer. I will try both tomorrow to check wear.
I hope we get a few more for this. It would be nice to have 6 or 8.

I'm with dlr. Mostly 42.8/7's. I did manage, only once mind you, a 42.662 Personally, I don't think much more can be found... For me at least.
-
I will mention that 42's come only from taking a tight, tight line in the turns. Two wheels MUST be below the white line and can even touch the curbs (for all 4 turns). Early turn in is also beneficial. My times when staying above the white line always produce 43.000 and up.

Word! The God Father has spoken :D

What? you don't like public rooms??? (http://i.imgur.com/LmjyBgx.gif)
No worries, I've already changed my mind about the public room. I'll send out Friend Requests when I get home and do a private room.

I have some stuff to do tonight with the kids and might have a hard time getting there for 8:30. Should be closer to 8:45 if you guys can drag it out a bit. If not then I can always get in on the 2rd one.

Host tunas lounge is available for tonight.

Thanks Baked, that would work great, if I can get a friend invite to it accepted. :D Having been on "hiatus" since right around this time last year, I do not have any of the tuna lounges in my friends list.
