:dunno Football seems lack luster... :fucking Longhorns let me down again this year... :(
Anyone else feel like calling an audible today?? Maybe have the 1rd Annual "Fish Bowl"
I was thinking Lambo vs Ferrari at 600pp.
Or maybe we do a different kind of "bowl".... What about "roll your own at 420pp"?
Just looking for something to do later this afternoon or else I'll be stuck watch "Real Housewives of..." episodes with the :nagnag lovely wife all night... Any interest?

I might be around later. Either idea sounds good to me. :)

I'm definitely interested in either idea. :)
-
Depending on when this bowl gets started I would gladly bring out the golden fish bowl on wheels at 420 pp
-
If we have enough interest we might move this to the Grotto for more privacy...
I will start an OPEN Lobby a room at about 5pm CST called the "TUNA Fish BOWL", you'll have until 5:30pm to warm-up/tune. At 5:30pm we will start running "standard" (roughly 15 minute) races with a 5-minute clock in between. We will start someplace and then move anytime someone asks after a minimum of three races at the currently designated track.
e.g. if we started at DayTUNA, we could leave there anytime anyone asks for a change of venue after three races have been completed. if the vote says NudeBabeRing we would jump there for a minimum of three races (number of laps will be adjusted accordingly as required to maintain a roughly 15min race).
I will set it at 420pp... Standard LATE SHOW restrictions (i.e. no ASM, no Skid Recovery, and whatever the third one is -- basically left-side checked, right-side unchecked)
Now Playing: The 1rd Annual TUNA Fish BOWL
When: Monday, January 2st, 2012
Where: DOWNLOAD venue - afterwards we will VOTE when changing (minimum of three ~15min races at track before move can occur)
KickOFF: Gates open at 5pm, first race at 5:30pm (all times CENTRAL)
The Car(s): "Roll Your Own" at 420pp
Horsepower Limit: n/a
Weight Limit: n/a
PP Limit: 420pp
Tires: Racing Soft (smoke 'em if you got 'em... :D )
Lap Count: Enough for ~approx 15min race at chosen venue
Wrules and Wrinkles:
Race Fast! Race Hard!! Race Clean!!! Have FUN!!!!
Our event participation guidelines are very simple. We ask that all drivers race hard, fast and clean. Participants should control their cars as if they owned them and avoid in-race contact with others. If your actions disturb the forward progress of another driver we ask that you pull over or slow down and allow the other driver to regain his position ahead of you. Have fun!

Unsure of a car for 420pp?!...
:bong
Well... though we've run several in the past; if you're in a pinch a HITR always works... :D
-
:fuck !!! Someone locked up the Drive-In after Saturday's races.
But never fear I was able to pick the lock and OPEN up the place... If you find it locked, the combination is:
1472 - 6118 - 3701 - 4255 - 1439
-
If you guys are still running, i'll be off work at 8p EST...sounds like fun swimming with sharks ;)
-
I got caught up in watching the Rose Bowl & Fiesta Bowl.
-
Had a blast running this last night. Might have to find a computer so I can share some pix
-
I had a lot of fun last night. The car variety was there during the whole event and as for me during my last race @ HSR..... well I had to go to bed at 11pm last night for school today so i chose to spend my last 20 minutes slaying dragons in Skyrim instead of racing. :o
(Oh and i think this needs to be a weekly event.)

It was appropriate and I (http://i583.photobucket.com/albums/ss272/james_mikel/STGT%20forum/lol1.gif)
I made it in late and there were still plenty of people racing. Charlie has somehow confused me with Ricks95 though. (http://i.imgur.com/LmjyBgx.gif)

Yeah, I actually do root for the Big Ten in all bowl games. Especially against the SEC. I just had to give ya a little shit. (http://i583.photobucket.com/albums/ss272/james_mikel/STGT%20forum/lol1.gif)

Root for anyone over the SEC. I was at the Liberty Bowl and we sent that (admittedly 6-6) SEC team back home with another loss!

Root for anyone over the SEC.
Word.

I'm only a fan of 3 college teams: Florida (Gators... obviously) Mizzou (they're local so... again obvious) and Wisconsin (My grandparents lived there for most of their lives)
