  Sorry wolf, i was getting some sleep to get ready for 3rds tonight, and i completely overslept. Hope the race went well for everyone!

Kind of a low turnout, but a good race. After a few laps, things got (somewhat) sorted out and Looney, Ex, and I proceeded to run a long battle of lap times to see who would take what podium spots. I managed to hold it together and take first - I only had one major screw up. Looney eventually gained and held second. Ex finished third. It was a fun race. Some of the others had bad luck, but sounded like they had fun racing.

I ran nearly a perfect race, for me, outside of a "half spin" and was able to get into 3th after about 8 or 9 laps. After missing several opportunities to pass X, I finally did it with 2 laps left, albeit with an unexpected pass. It was nice to see the leader for part of the race.

I need to apologize to everyone for not making it. Kind of a family moment last night with my 9 year old. Lets just say it was school related and our meeting went until 9:30 when I realized how late it was it was too late.

Too bad because I did practice for this one and like the track, it just wasn't meant to be.

I should mention that my son is now grounded for a week and with a four day weekend starting tomorrow it should be interesting.

Barring any more incidents I will be there next week as I like Indy Road too. I hope everyone had fun and see you all next week.

Sorry wolf, i was getting some sleep to get ready for 3rds tonight, and i completely overslept. Hope the race went well for everyone!

Hmmm, that's the excuse I always get from women I'm trying to date!    It's okay though, despite the low turnout it was fun. I'm also wondering what happened to LLF?  Sorry you missed out LLF, but sounds like you had a good reason.  Indy RC is next, but it is the 18th not next week

I was definitely my own worst enemy last night and while I don't think my tune was good enough to win I think if I hadn't erred at all I could have made 3rd or 4th (no disrespect to the top finishers of this race you guys did awesome...I'm merely talking potential).  Oh well that is racing!  In the back of the field I had a good time mixing it up with cecollazo.  Unfortunately he botched his pit strategy so in the end he was an easy pass.

I either witnessed or experienced lag last night and honestly I don't know which it was.  Cecollazo was jumping around a lot when he was in front of me for 3-4 laps.  I drove through clouds of smoke and dust at almost every chicane, and that made me wonder.  And DudeTuna's car was very twitchy around me, but only for 1-2 laps near the mid-point of the race.  Prior to that any wheel to wheel action we had was free of any lag.  So when I saw him darting back and forth in my mirror I got a little nervous.  And when his car rammed me hard into the 2nd chicane's wall I knew that it was lag and naturally not Dude.  Shortly after that Dude left the room.  I hope he wasn't pissed off or anything.

Anybody run some times for the next race yet?  I've been so busy that I haven't played GT5 since the race last Wednesday!   

I'm sure I'll play at some point this weekend so look for the lap count to be posted on Sunday or Monday.
