I have a couple with high mileage but I want a fresh one, could you hook me up.
-
Sorry guys If yall where looking for me to run this race, I eneded up being rushed to the hospital last night around seven and was there until midnight.
-
I hope it was nothing serious Ronin!
-
As much as I hate to admit it, it was actually somewhat serious. I'm one of those guys that, If I am not dying, leave me alone. I tolerated the pain for several hours. It started around 11:30ish, when my chest tightened up making it painful to breath, Finally wile I was on GT getting some pictures from a couple races before setting up for the race I had a couple real bad back spasms that literally put me on the floor. My wife looks at me and sais, "Hun, you're going to the hospital." and called my sister. I was taken in with spastisity or severe back spasms. Lets put it this way, wile in the ER I had a spasm episode that literally ripped me out of a USGI combat boot.
A week and a half later I am still having difficulties from it. I believe I did some damage to my spine and lungs, in addition to that I am also pretty confident I asperated some fluid during the ordeal.
-
I hope you feel better soon Ronin.
I had similar incident in November 2010 - my wife and I thought it was a heart attack. Chest and back pain beyond description. It was pneumonia - fluid in your lungs. Painful and debilitating - but it also sapped alot of my energy levels. I was in the hospital for 2 weeks and on sick leave for an additonal 4 weeks.
Rest was the very best medicine because it gave my body a chance to heal.

Damn man, well I wish you luck in your recovery!
