I'll put it back up on my share list for any one else that needs it.

Thanks for sharing the Lotus, dlrws6.  Got it on my 2th try.

I have the Subie I used shared if anyone needs it.  Turned it into a 5 speed and that seemed to help.

Thanks, I'll give them both a try.  Also, most may already know this but I saw it posted in GTplanet and it has really come in handy.  If you need quick cash and A-spec xp try the K-cup Eiffel race.  300,000cr and ~54,000xp every 3 minutes.  ;D

And thank you Wiz, Ronin and every one else.

After trying a few of the shared cars, I decided to go with Wiz's for my next attempt. It only took two tries. 1 to get used to the car and 1 to win.  Best I can figure, it had to be the gears that was holding my car back.  I was shocked at the difference in acceleration between every ones cars and mine. I'll have to be carefull from now on. I think I became so obsessed about making the car turn, I for the most part ignored the gears after the initial adjustments I made.

I haven't shared a car before, can it be changed at all by the original owner after it has been shared?

You can not use a car you have set to shared. If you barrow a shared car you can make adjustments to it, but they do not keep those adjustments when you return it. To return a car simply change to one of your cars in your garage.

While it is shared it cannot be changed by the owner. You can't even check the settings, I think. Borrowers can buy parts (new for 1.10) and change settings, but it will probably lose the parts, and definitely lose the new settings, when the owner takes his car back offline.

FT-86 for the drifting challenge is very good. It can also win the 493hp TT, with only 300hp :)

Here it is in Olympic Gold Metallic
